Video editing, programming and research since I want to make guides like you:) you got me into all of that stuff, I used to do a lot of programming. I'm only 14, haha.
Hi. Great video. I do not want to come off the wrong way, but I can't seem to find a straight answer to the digitizer/screen bonding question. In your video, you don't take any steps to bond them. I bought the items then heard it might be an issue. Any insight? Will it work the way your video shows it? Or must a step be taken to bond them, and if so, how is that done? Thank you in advance.
Nice video. Thanks. Do you know if this requires the Android 4.2+ on Nexus? Most of the sellers on ebay for the LCD+Digitizer assembly are asking for 4.2+. Mine is shattered and the display is not working so it is too late for me to find out, but there is a good chance that mine is on 4.1?
Hey, thanks for the vid. I was wondering if you could show how to remove the screen from the digitizer? Or would you suggest to get the lcd and the glass replacement when the glass is broken?
Britec09 Hey guys, I noticed that you guys have installed a CHUNGHWA panel into your Nexus 7, how's the colour reproduction and viewing angles on this thing, is it similar to the original HYDIS panels?
Hi Brian, i replaced the lcd and digitizer as per your video. i have a problem the lcd works fine but i cant get the touch screen to work. Could this be a faulty digitizer or is it another reason.
Dont you have to somehow afix the LCD to the digitizer? The way you did it, would the LCD be shaking slightly inside the nexus 7 after the full assembly?
Bri do you have any links to a good site to get info on how to slipstream service pack 2+3 into a winxp disc, i need to load xp on to an i5 and im having probs.
hahahah after all that work, but your right about the cheap parts you get now days. We live in a throw away world today, which is a shame be I use to love them old hardware shop, they repaired anything.

I have never had issue with glue like that on battery before, but you right a bit of heat would not of gone a miss.
Cheers glad you liked it.
Eddie, what do you want to use the Laptop for?
Great vid Bri. I have a Nexus 7 so handy video just in case of a disaster. Keep up the good work. Mick. N/ Ireland
Will do soon.
What's holding the LDC onto the digitizer? I thought the needed to be bonded with UV reactive glue??

3xtr3m1st you need to use UV glue or 3m glue strips, but UV Glue is the way to go.
Britec09 That's what I learned from other repair guides. But you're not doing it here, why?
3xtr3m1st I forgot to push record, but don't worry I will show you how in another video.
Great video as always Brian but i was wondering could you do a guide on how to replace a Asus EeePad Transformer TF101 screen hope you can :)
