That red dirtymax would of been 2nd if he didn't blow a hose. Only need 1 Chevy in the class to bring it home .. them Cummins not 2bad . Those Ford's thoe what a joke .
I'm a Ford guy, but I agree. They just don't get the power for momentum which the Chevy and Dodge, they're grunts for wood hauling. Wheel hop threat doesn't help. The Chevy gets up the RPM and stays there all the way.

If i had drove my truck off the "street" and entered that pull, i wouldve been raising he** for a few of the trucks in that class ! Im sure a couple were towed in !
All trailer queens. 😂 One of these guys called me tonight and told me they broke their truck and had to wait to get a ride home from a pull. Or go back and get their truck. That’s why they drive them in on trailers. Breakage happens. But we are putting together a 8500 Hot Street class...soon.

Pulling has a lot to do with the tires too. Pulling brought back the STS Traxxus Tire and various other tires. DOT tire classes will try any combination they think can work.
Those big ford diesel trucks cost as much as those big tractors, lots.
