you should try a teaser of gulp about a foot above the buck tail that always works for me and i get most of them on the teaser
Off shore tuna mother ship expedition with the yak and some other dudes! Thirty pound lever drag gear would give you some sick sleigh rides. Maybe wait till later in the season, but you know it’s something you have to do at some point.

Hey man, I Just got back into surf fishing in NJ and I've been loving the vids. I actually just purchased a bunch of fishaholic shads. I was wondering if you could make two different videos that would help me, and I'm sure a lot of others out. Can you make a video of how you scout out new spots on maps. Specifically how you identify flats and what thinking goes into your searches. Also I think a rundown of some tricks you use with your gear, how you pack your car, care and maintenence of your gear would be a great help too! Hope to see more vids soon!

great vid, dont be afraid to use larger bait. I think the reason you were getting mostly shorts at first is your bucktail and swimming mullet were a little small, then once you changed to the other bucktail with the swinging hook it was probably more that the bait looked bigger and you caught that keeper. Big baits = big fluke. Not kidding try using plain jig head with a 6" swimming mullet
I have a question, what are you looking for in your pursuit of flounder cuz I'm in Texas and I flounder fish but I'm just learning what I need to look for so what do you look for in order to locate fish?
Catching big flounder. It’s like pulling up a brick. That’s why we call em doormats down here in NC😂

First thing is... loving your stuff over here in England and not surprisingly relevant especially the beach cleaning! Normally have a bag with me will make sure it’s two next time.

Just wanted to ask, do u always tie the lure straight on to the flouro? Or do u use quick change clips? I lure fish, and I use quick change clips...apart from being able to change lures quickly...they also give better action to the lures...

Thanks really glad to hear! I guess I narrate the way I do because I’ve been the champ and the chump out there on the water. In a lot of videos I’m just taking a shot in the dark and using my experience to learn something new. That’s why we all love fishing you never know what to expect. But when I’m fluking with lures I like to tie direct. Striped bass I’ll use a clip unless I’m fishing really shallow clear water.
Sometimes clips can give better action to plugs. Usually I take off the split rings so it’s easier to clip on the plug.

Gotta measure with the mouth of the fish all the way closed. Those couple that barely squeaked by probably weren't keepers.
You should take this video down. That fish you kept was short. Gotta measure with the mouth closed. If it was 20 with the mouth open like that it was def short. Should learn the Reg’s before you get out there
