Rich, I much prefer your Montauk & Northeast fishing videos. Not much of a fan of Florida but that’s just me. Maybe boat fishing in Florida for Mahi & other species. Snook while a great fish doesn’t do it for me.

I like fishing both tides but also remember that moon phase. Nice from Florida Im in Miami or the keys. They don't let us fish from the beach in Miami. They say this sharks were putting them closer to shore.

So glad to see you fish a spinning reel like you're supposed to, right hand retrieve! I never understood why , if you're right handed, you would use a spinning reel left handed?
Why cast with your right hand and then move the pole to your left hand to retrieve ? Swapping hands is just extra work and time. Meanwhile you can cast with your right hand and reel with your left, no swapping of the hands, feels more natural. But it always comes down to preference.

Hey Rich, what's the little clip you use to quick-change your lures? I've used snap swivels before but it looks different.
They're called angler power clips, or "paperclip" style. They're pretty convenient, better design than a snap swivel.

Uni knot for mono or fluoro, Palomar for braid.
Good basic knots. Palomar is undefeated for braid

I am a fan of yours, but , I have to admit, when you fish on this ocean front beach, it's like there are undisturbed captive pickings....private beach closed off to the every day surf-caster is not one of my favs... you do great videos though...keep up the good work...
Are stripers not edible fish?
They are but they have to be certain sizes to be kept and some people just catch and release even legal limit fish
