Boy that fall looked like a reality check the way you shook it off was amazing. An old guy like myself I would have been outta commission for a week.

I haven't missed watching and liking every one of your videos for years but I rarely comment on them. However today's video compelled me to. That brief explanation Brian gave of the business and the decisions that go into it was a highlight for me. Well, that, and Cole falling in the snow of course.
Also, the thought of Reed getting old enough to look back at all of these videos someday and see the younger versions of his family working together makes me smile. Congratulations to you all and thanks again for all of that delicious beef.

I'll add my thanks for Mr Sonne's graduate level lecture on calving, weaning, and feed rations. It's like easily playing 3-D chess with all the moving pieces. Makes me appreciate even more my love of NY strip, seared and cooked medium! Also the banter over the antifreeze top off reminded me of conversations I had as a young man roughnecking in the TX Panhandle in the 70's. You could participate in any conversation between Indiana Midwest farm boys and central Texas ranch hands and oil well workers with two phrases, "I heard dat" and "yeh buddy". Worked 100% of the time.

Thank you, Brian, for your insight into buying and raising calves. Cole, my firstborn was a little girl. She was colicky as a baby, screaming like you described, any time of day. Loved that you kept in that slip and fall cause hey, it happens. Big thumbs up to Brian for stepping in and describing his reason for doing things, people should take heed if they don't have the same experience up that way. Cole, I hope today's world holds onto some semblance of what it once was and that yourself and Tiffany learn to see early child raising as old hat, it can be hard at first, my first daughter had to have tubes put in her ears and until that was figured out the crying was nearly nonstop.

Tell Tiffany to rest as she can and never turn down help. Keep Reid away from people as illness are every where, remember wash your hands all the time and never let anyone hold the baby without them washing their hands and NO kissing the baby , spreads germs !!!. New parents have all the same thoughts, I did too. A bottle and a fresh diaper usually solves the crying issue. It will pass after a while. But they are so wonderful you really don't mind do you? Winter is the bane of farming.

It is hard to comprehend the talent. It takes to buy calves and make it work financially as he is doing.
Takes a lot of skill, and there is risk in involved a lot!

A beautiful picture of the family on instagram, its a very hard first few weeks with a first child trying to understand what they want when they cry its mostly food and diaper change the only advice I can give you is the second child was a doddle, that slip was very graceful and the recovery first class, just don’t go hurting yourself as I’m sure Tiffany doesn’t need another baby to fetch and carry for.

Turn your volume up on your TV then lay your baby with you watching TV that way if they hear a noise it won't bother them worked on our 3 daughters 🎉❤❤❤

Reed is screaming about the Vikings and Packers. Brian's explanation about calfs was really interesting.
