    This Yellow filter was in some Iphones now is in Samsung. They need to change something so they using this Yellow filters like in Optics Made by USRR and DDR in past.

    This was a really awesome comparison, thanks so much! I wish I could combine both phones into one, both have really compelling strengths on their own. The Pixel 7 (I'm sure also the 8) is perfect for day-to-day use, nailing 95% of the use cases. But the S23 is not far off most of the time and kills the Pixel in all the special use cases. But since owning the Pixel 6 Pro, I don't consider a great tele zoom so special anymore, so I'd prefer the Samsung in the end. And I also prefer its size, the Pixel Pros (to get tele zoom) are too big for me.

    I got the Samsung 23+ with a new contract and if it's only a bit sunny the pictures are much too punchy and bright that it doesn't look nice anymore even with scene optimizer off. What I really like are pictures in quite cloudy situations and sunsets /sunrises, esp. if you use the 3 tines zoom. . I have the feeling in the reviews that the basic 23 is better than the 23+ (example : the blue of the sky on 23+ looks extremely bright bluish, on 23 rewievs more darker bluish....) 🤔don't get it. But if it's sunny I still prefer my huawei p20 to the Samsung 23+

    in standard photography, pixel wins in my opinion but if you combine all of the photography modes and videography modes over all Samsung is the best. My next phone will be going back to a Samsung phone most likely the s24 ultra as they are just more premium than pixel phones and over all more reliable and stable than pixel.

    I forget to ask you every time, but do you disable the scene optimizer on your Samsung?
    Do you disable face smoothing?
    And above all, what color profile do you use for your screen and in photography? Vivid or natural?
    Because, frankly, the results you get every time with Samsung are too saturated.
    In photography, the Galaxy tend to saturate the, yet in video, they have an almost perfect colorimetry and exposure, it is clearly an artistic choice (that I don't like) of Samsung when the scene optimizer is activated.

    • @GadgetRevNow
      @GadgetRevNow  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great thoughts! I need to check that next time I shoot. But I always shoot with the features "out of the box", so if Samsung is doing it automatically, then the images have them.
      To be fair, I know that HDR is also automatic on Pixel phones as I turned it off on one of the low light images because it always go to night shot on less than ideal light.
      So both of them have some sort of software editing magic in auto mode. But moving forward, I can add that disclaimer though we will get flooded by people asking to remake the comparison with certain features on or off.
      Safest will be auto mode. 😅 Great thoughts by the way. As always! 😎♥️

      @@davidwestwood2457 even i was wondering the same but ended up with s23 and i have to say i am loving it big time. Pixels need to be more refined imo. But cameras are just next level. If you are planning for pixel then waiting for the newer ones would be the way to go.
      You might get some awesome deals with prebooking. Stability/battery life/zoom camera might still continue to haunt on pixel 8.
      If you are planning for galaxy device, and need one ASAP, go for the baby S23 like i did. (I really needed to switch). If not you can wait for the s24 which would bring more improvements over the current generation.
      I have to say, till now S23 is the best compact flagship imo😊

I've had a Pixel/Nexus of some kind for like over ten years, so I want to try something new with a smaller size phone. Sounds like the S23 is a good option! It sounds silly, but I've always been scared away from other phones because their cameras might not be as good, but the S23 looks solid. Google pixel 7 is good or bad for camera?

    • @GadgetRevNow
      @GadgetRevNow  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Still a very good camera phone. I will probably make a few comparisons of this phone in 2025.

    So S23 Won?
    Overall as a phone as well?

    • @GadgetRevNow
      @GadgetRevNow  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Overall, camera features are better on S23, longer updates, brighter screen and faster performance.
      Pixel 7 is a value champ though, providing all the camera essentials (I see no weakness on it), bigger screen and more affordable.
      Boils down to preference, do you want to save more or get a better overall performance. 🤜🤛❤️

    Photos should be natural looking don't you agree 😂

    • @GadgetRevNow
      @GadgetRevNow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, depends, coz if the best photos are natural looking why do people spend thousands of dollars for edited family portrait, weddings and even instagram shots.
      I believe there's a market for both. ❤️

    Pixel is lacking in hardware compared to the Samsung

    • @GadgetRevNow

      Pixel 7 got the first gen sensor (ISOCELL GN1) while Galaxy S23 is using the latest GN3 👍

    Turn off scene optimizer 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

    • @GadgetRevNow
      @GadgetRevNow  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      But then, I should also turn off HDR on Pixel phones? I feel like I will manipulate a fair comparison. Whatever the manufacturer puts in 'out of the box', I think that is what everyone will use.

    Me quedo de lejos, con la fotografía del Píxel. Samsung satura demasiado las fotos y no corresponden los colores, con la realidad.
    Deberías probar ambos, en una sola foto, a un perro en movimiento, o a un niño pequeño. Ahí es donde peor es el Samsung y mejor el Píxel.
    Píxel está a otro nivel en fotografía. Saludos

    Samsung simply don't know how to make a good camera with natural colors!
