I was just praying with the Lord and speaking with him about many difficulties I'm having and one of the things I mentioned was the inability and lack I was having to understand and implement the scripture for renewal and overcoming of my bondage . Then all of a sudden I look up passive nature that Christians often take and I believe the Holy Spirit guided me here for an increase in understanding because you lay it out so well and go in depth and you display how descriptive and meaty these verses are, when they're implemented DURING the habitual struggle God can truly change and renew our mind. When you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour He gave you His righteousness. Your steps have already been ordered for victory. Walk in unity with the Lord. 🙏
I bind myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ to cast all one's cares and anxieties upon God, while loosening myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those who do not cast all one's cares and anxieties upon God, in accordance with 1 peter 5:7-9, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
I'd like to point out verse 6 and 10 explain how the dealing with these anxieties is temporary, and that Christ will EVENTUALLY exalt us, thus HE CASTS our anxieties on him after a time. So the message in 7 8 and 9 and its exhortation to fight the devil in context is in prayerful and patient expectation of having our anxieties cast on him. I don't believe it is us who does the casting, it is him, and having looked at the greek I believe this is done by Christ in his exaltation of us.
TL;DR: Just because God cares for our needs, that doesn't mean we shouldn't stop fighting the evil one or watching out for ways he could sneak into our lives. Despite this, we shouldn't be anxious or afraid, as God will help us fight.

We can't afford to be passive. We must fight to get the gospel to the people who need it, which is everyone.
