Excellent aquamarine stones!!! Your daughter did an excellent job on the wire wrap, that takes talent to do!! Thank you for sharing this information with me, God bless you and your family!!!
FANTASTIC, I really needed something like this to distract me from the end of the federal fiscal year. Can't tell you how much I appreciate the upload.
Just indulging my taste buds to get back to the Crater of Diamonds yesterday and here you are with season #2. I can't wait to see more of that awesome Antero Blue. Thanks for putting these videos out.
Really enjoyed watching your 4-part series from season 1 and seeing how the pros do it. Thanks for sharing!! Looking forward to watching this new season.
I love this series. I get really excited when I see ya'll dig up the blue. And seeing those shots where you just have handfuls of the stuff, that feeling must feel incredible. You all are awesome!
Is this an actually tv show or is it only on TH-cam? I'm glad I found this channel, I love the show and hope for many more. I was watching gold mining vids here on youtube and came across this show. I never heard of Aquamarines before watching this but I like it. They are very pretty and I can see why people like em, they are gorgeous crystal gems. I like watching the process, the digging and all the work that goes into collecting/mining these valuable gems off the mountains. I'm glad I subscribed and I am hooked. I hope you continue to make more every season. Good luck mining guys and gals. :)
Great to see you back online. I love your videos and your Aqua even more. Someday I hope I can afford to buy a piece to facet. I'm crippled and poor and cut for a hobby (since Dec '19). If and when they start selling to offset the cost of facet rough, I'm definitely going to be in a market for some nicely colored, transparent blue aqua. I have a few small crystals from Afghanistan and a few more tiny ones from the US. They will cut clear, non-colored stones.
With semi-precious stones, sometimes it can be best to leave them raw. So I'd rather have a crystal like the one @20m, although it looked like it had a fracture rather than being flawless. Or the smokey quartz @25m because it had a nice transition and shape. If they polish up nice, it can be pretty easy to turn them into pendants, broaches etc. Often I think they're more interesting than trying to cut & facet, especially as smaller stones tend not to show the color as well. It's also an easy & cheap(ish) way to get into making jewellery, so get some round-nose pliers, snips and cheap silver plated jeweller's wire to practice on different shaped stones, then move on to silver wire & annealing that once you get better.. Just don't wrap a stone too tight, or you might find yourself with your own clicker.. But I'm weird like that. I can't stand diamonds and think they're boring stones compared to a lot of semi-precious ones. :p
Wow guys. I can’t tell you how excellent this video is,it is pure superior quality,in every sense of the word! Looking forward to the next episode 👌👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I am loving these videos! Makes me totally want join your diggers. I really love how you do as much with that mountain as you can. I would like to try some of the cosmetics that comes out of that MT.
Wow I really wish i could do something like this. It would be so amazing to find pieces like that!! I'd be ecstatic just by finding one of those little smokey quartz 😂 better than anything i have in my collection
Just come upon your channel and omg my most favorite stone of all i love it more then diamonds.....and the best part your in my most favorite state of all ....i can not wait to see more video's
Tracie, the first crystal you found as you were walking the mountain path, might mean good things to come. Aside from that a broach loosely wired (thin wire) in white gold would be beautiful, leaving it uncut but polished. It would make a great conversation piece, when you tell people "it's just the way I found it" I'm just say'in.
Dude I love watching these because the gems you find are amazing and you guys work super hard hope you keep finding what you are looking for and keep on posting these because they are awesome
I haven’t seen the first season, but now that I’ve seen this episode I love it and now I’m gonna watch the rest, I think I really wanna do this sometime when I’m an adult, I just really love the geology of these thing, like the indicators of some materials and like finding a spot between two types of rock, what can I say it seems perfect. Fun and also earns you money. Can you just note some downsides, so I don’t get to excited? There’s always hard things in a job.
As a beginning rockhound I am wondering why he digs at the contact zone between decomposing and hard granite at 25:00. Is it just because it is easy to dig or do is the decomposition a sign that there might be something behind it?
Really cool!
Thank you.
Here we go Rockhounds! Proud of all the teams this season! you all ROCK!
What does it take for a kid like me to come up to Mt Antero and find Smokey quartz and Aquamarine?
Dude true it would be so much fun
Love this show!!💚💙🗽🇺🇸🙏😁
If you need someone to give your family pointers with the wire wrapping, id be happy to help....

How much do you think your cutters skim off from you??? It has to be a concern, right?
We have a very reputable cut house in New York. They return the waste as well.
@@mountanterotreasuresproduc1895 I never even thought about them returning the waste, yes that would keep it very above board!!!
