When you press the A button at the start 4:32 (it doesn't tell you to at the start but it helps) keep pressing A until you fill that bar before the countdown ends so you can get a boost in speed at the start. This game really reminds me of super mario.

im on team purple! i hope placing the plushie works for you, i think the idle animation it gets is so cute! also in the racing game, youre supposed to mash the A button during the countdown and itll fill up the meter at the bottom of the screen and give you a boost! thats why you were so slow at the beginning compared to the others

iirc, you have to let your battery die, charge it for an hour or two, take off the charger and dont turn the tamagotchi on
