Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us. I have been watching your videoa and learning alot from you. We are preparing to homeschool our children (currently have a 3 yo and 1 yo). We have not started formal homeschooling and wondering what age do you recommend should we start bringing our children to a coop. There is one in our Church and they meet once a week for two hours. They just started last year and working on developing their activities (expanding their hours and implementing more subjects to cover). Thank you again for all your help!
How many families should be included in co-op? What if there are only three families who homeschools in whole country? (speaking from ex-communist country where homeschooling is just startnig to be recognized as a right that parent should have )
@classicalliberalarts correct me if I am wrong, but if nobody ever starts with homeschooling in these part od eastern Europe then there will never be homeschooling here Also, correct me if I am wrong but that is how homeschooling started in USA. It was illegal at first, but small number of People/ parents decided to fight for that right. also speaking from Europian perspective: many countries here are still in process of fighting for homeschooling - it is not the same as in USA
No, homeschooling was not illegal in America. I didn't say anything about starting to homeschool. I said it's hard to start a co-op if you're the only one homeschooling.

It would probably not be a good idea to start a homeschool co-op in a country with no homeschool families.

@@classicalliberalarts thank you for your answer. Your videos have been very helpful!
So are you the full-time teacher for your kids or is it half and half with your wife?
My wife teaches the children during the day. I work and allow her to do so.
