Very nice layout. The ballast, scenicked mountains and hillsides. The old SP Glendale Station. The industrial areas depicted splendidly. Good job, fellows.
I like it when people post videos of their layouts and DON'T edit out the behind the scenery stuff. For me, the magic of the layout should include what it takes to support that layout.
To me, the magic is to create the longest trip for a train within the given space. This appears to be the case with this layout, that is one very long trip! My layout is 6'x36', and I have managed to make one trip around the layout equal to a 580' long run. It incorporates a folded dog-bone, and two levels of operation, that works for me. I've always enjoyed visiting this club's layout.
Great layout. Thanks for the cabview clip. Low speed and in HD. Nicely done! The only negative here is that there are too many people wandering around.
great video, excellent layout, video done very well at a decent scale speed, some other layout videos with cab cams run through layout at unrealistics speeds.
Hah! Y'all're 'bout some really serious lookin' mugs if there ever wuz, but I'd luv ta be there with ya!! Except for a few foundations that are in need 'a bein' thoroughly planted into the ground, your scenery is really wonderful! I really appreciate the lack of the "shiny new" which so many modelers retain -why(?)- to show off their toys or... I may be nuts but I luv a show of obsessive/compulsive when it comes to going after realism! (:-b)(;-p}->< Cheers and thanx fer the ride! []
Forgot to ask... Since I'm in K'town which puts me within screamin' distance, do y'all have any open houses comin' up? I'd truly love to see your rig live and in person...

Amazing video. Love the layout. Would love to know how you recorded the footage on your iPad?
Used a Looxcie HD camera controlled by the Ipad or any smart phone

Open every Monday night C'mon on down 619 Hahn St, Glendale CA
How did you connect the camera to the train? Velcro on a flat car?
Even playing at double speed, it's still painfully slow.
Nice layout but can anybody tell me why I need to see the unlit inside of a tunnel or the badly lit bench work when the train goes under the scenery??
+David Curtis There is a revised video with the tunnel darkness removed. Search Glendale Model Railroad Club Revised.

Seems like no one banks the curves...
