I need to do CX-9 as well .
I always thought of the cx-7 as a CX-9 with a 4 cylinder .
So I'm pretty sure it will be similar if not exactly the same .
Its amazing that the cx-7 was sooo popular and underpowered that Mazda discontinued it . Only to make the same mistake with the CX-9 4 years later . Have you ever looked at sales figured for the CX-9 once they shrunk it and dropped the v6 ??
Less than half !
When all they needed to do was add an 8 spd transmission or even 10 speed like the 2018 Expedition and ZL1 Camaro. And it would have gotten the same gas mileage as the turbo with even better torque range utilization, and they wouldn't have had to shrink it and probably could have grown market share l.
But nooo,you'll get a turbo and that's your only option.
I hate to be unkind ...but idiots ! Do they even bother looking at their sales numbers ?
