Nice one mate... Mine is a mess lol.... How do u store ur sleeves and other kit? Do you use tool boxes for brushes and sleeves and the like? I chop and change sometimes using old skuttles for storing etc. Dusts sheets etc can be a pain to store easily!
I am just about paint my skirting boards with old gloss on them, should I just give it a light rub it down and paint straight over them or use a primer or undercoat first ?
You can rub down and gloss should stick. But I would always recommend undercoat then gloss. Unless the paint says just 2 coats of gloss on a prepared surfaces. Or one coat gloss which I don't like really. Ronseal primer and gloss all in one just 2 coats of that water based it's good.
Old time decorator just can't throw any thing out.
Way too disorganised for my style, BUT from this video I learned the value of adding a plastic scraper and a file to my gear. Thanks.
That tool box has been on a lot of jobs id say mate lol
Think it's about ten years old.

Thanks. I have a large store room with lots of shelves. And just pick stuff needed for each job and load the van.
Good stuff :)
Not just me that's a hoarder then !
geenieweenie1 best way to have a tool box and everything in it has a use at some point . I've only got the one tool box that goes on every job.
next time if you can make a video about the paint brushes you use roller and other tools for painting decorating enjoy the video.
No problem thanks.
I bet you had to put all that back in some sort of order only for it to all go out the window the following day.... I'm the exact same haha!
