I also use a plastic container which is deep enough to use as a basin or mini-bucket when I only need a little water or I will be changing it often... Improvisation in another person's house when cleaners and accessories are often inadequate or absent, this helps me when I am the cleaning person! Enjoyed this- hard to de-grease this level of build-up and many oils sink into wall materials and crevices if left there long enough. Wonderful job!
Cooking grease is so sneaky. It hides in the fan hood and behind the oven. I didn't realize how bad it was until I had to move out and clean one place I was renting. It took hours to get it all off the walls. Splatter screens help, but they don't eliminate the all the grease. It's so much work to clean. So amazed at your stamina cleaning this kitchen!
Eyesight can be so difficult, you did a great job! I had cataract surgery recently, and I had to deep clean my entire house. There was so much I could not see before!

And we have used to work with bucket with water. But I understand that maybe those sprays are more effective and fast way to remove grease. Oven cleaner is good for stuck on/burnt on food. but you should try using damn dish soap when cleaning the range hood and grease off walls etc. you will not have to scrub as much and will use less product too. Can use dawn dish soap on the floors and cleaning bathroom and sinks also

Great job! But you might need a protective suit and mask for your health; here’s a comment by someone who mentioned this to another TH-camr that you might find useful for your health. That person said, “ I used to empty out foreclosed properties for a living, spent several years working in properties that had large amounts of mold, rotting garbage, maggots, roaches, fleas, vermin and their various forms of excrement (you should see the fridges/ freezers that I've cleaned!). While none of your video content surprises me, I cannot stress how much health danger you and the house occupant are in just by being in the house without PPE, particularly a good respirator (not a cloth mask but a full respirator), even just picking up trash as you are in the start of the video. I used to make myself very sick by ignoring PPE for jobs like this. You really should be wearing a respirator, eye protection, skin protection (gloves), and a disposable or changeable garment/coveralls the minute you step foot in the property. your attention to detail is superb! I just have concerns that you are going to cause yourself preventable health issues as I used to do.”

@@cleanwithbarbie -- I have a suggestion: you can put the protective clothes and a N95 mask in a bag, then after they open the door, you can tell them that you have to put the protective clothes and mask on, because your doctor told you that no matter how bad you feel about wearing them, that it is standard protocol, especially since you did see some roaches, etc, in previous homes, so just to ease your mind and not be nervous as you work, you have to put the protective clothes and the N95 mask on. Btw, easy oven alone is quite unhealthy to breathe in, so you really have to put on an N95 mask since you use a lot of it in some houses. Or you can just tell them that you have asthma, so you really need to put the mask on. You might develop asthma (or worse) if you keep breathing those toxic chemicals from the cleaning tools anyway at this rate, so it is better to stay safe. I don't believe anyone would feel degraded if you explained those things to them, and please put your hair in a bun to protect your hair from touching stuff as much as possible; your hair is close to your face, so having some grease or soemthign else on your ponytail that would sometimes touch your face as you work is, well, not great. And don't worry, I won't bother you about this again; I just wanted to give you that suggestion =D
