Mine arrived today from China with 5400 3S lipo. Took it for a spin at my backyard with very slight snow + slippery grass. This thing is amazing :) Although that is from my point of view. As my last RC experience is over 15 years ago with Nikkos etc. Luckily you mentioned that after impact wheel hub might get twisted and all it needs is slight twist back so I didnt go unscrewing all screws before trying that. So far first impression is very good. Just need to be careful with the throttle in somewhat tight spaces :) Hopefully we get more snow soon so can see what this thing is made of. Also need to try waterproof this thing further. Maybe my gf's old stockings will do nice net to keep snow away (as seen in Bison).
this is all very nice, but very far away from neutral - just an advertisement channel. any short glance of a possible weakness immediately turned into it´s opposite, and no realistic data and comparison. just as a small example .. bison has a center diff, the cheetahs have not, dhk zombie has swaybars in addition, which all the others have not. in fact partly interesting, but completely superficial .. focused on making money with advertisement.
Ok mate what ever. Haven't you seen all. My videos regarding them. I probably have the most of any channel showing you the running videos of all these cheap Chinese cars...dhk, jlb, vkar, wltoys etc
thx for the answer, and - of course i have seen them all (jlb, vkar, dhk) and it´s partly very helpful. would be just nice if you might go deeper into details as mentioned. for example, your repair video about the 21101 is great. after all, i ordered the 21101 partly on the basis of your, CCxRC and aussie playgrounds videos in combination with my own researches. ;-) finally found dhk zombie somehow even better built incl. mentioned center diff and swaybars, but it is of course also more expensive. looks like turnigy GT5 with built in gyro and other goodies would also be of great assistance with extremely speedy cars like these. ps: any reason btw., why you don´t modify tires to prevent or at least reduce balooning? logically controllability drastically degrades while speed is increased with these baloons.

I recently purchased 3 of these for Christmas for my boys (2 of the 21101 and one of the 11101) We've played with them on 3 different days, and have broken something on all 3 of them on each of those 3 days. Day 1: JLB 21101 broke off the rear wing spoiler (to be expected, weak point of car, always breaks off, along with the wheelie bar assembly) Day 2: Same 21101, broke one of the front Down Suspension arms where it mounts to the chassis and a rear wheel direction link arm where it mounts to the chassis on a routine high speed roll over crash (rendered car useless until parts arrive from China, that are now backordered) Day 3: JLB Cheetah 11101, broke front wheel Down Suspension arm where the shock mounts to it (weak point of arm) rendered this one useless until parts arrive from China. Also on Day 3, which was the first day we ever played with the 2nd JLB 21101, of course we broke off the rear wing and the wheelie bar, but then while just driving it on flat terrain, noticed the rear wheels were not elongating like they normally do when you are full throttle. Rear wheels were not engaging when squeezing throttle. Opened up rear gear box that night, pulled out differential, opened it up, noticed one of the differential cup arms had sheared off inside the differential where the arm is pinned into the 24 T differential gear. No way to repair, have to replace the entire differential. I ordered $200.00 in spare parts from Banggood (JLBRacing) but 4 of the items that were part of my order were back ordered, so they were going to wait until all items are available before shipping. Rediculous! I had to email Banggood to tell them to ship the available items immediately.

A little late but i did a range test in the following video th-cam.com/video/y9fuIi6Tx64/w-d-xo.html with the same transmitter. I noticed the antenna in the car will get pushed horizontal by the canopy which is not so good if range is needed.. So i did a few tests and upped the antenna and put it vertical which made a big difference as seen in the video. In that particular transmitter the antenna is placed upside down which can have probably an adverse effect depending on how we hold the transmitter.
Very pleased with both Cheetahs , Truggy and truck, except they are far from waterproof, ( using marine lub/water proof ) and tires ( 17 mm hub, 1/2 " offset ) on Truck are ok.. Any thoughts on replacement tires for truck beyond Badlands, don't want to oversize to stress motor, ? Thanks

I got the JLB 2110 but when I reverse and then forward quickly it does this little jerk and sometimes a grinding noise if I hold the throttle down harder. I'm new to RC cars so I'm not sure if this is bad. The car works great and there is no other problems except for the grinding noise thing. Do you know what the problem is or is it normal for the car to do that? After the grinding noise happens the car works fine
JBL Cheetah truck runs in reverse after I shut off the transmitter, any thoughts as to why? Thanks It did shut down after running into a deep puddle, dried out ran fine until now.
Do you think the proline trencher tire would fit without rubbing the body? I have only ran this car maybe 5 times on road and I can see the pizza cutting on different wheels at time and unstable I know the badlands fit I was wondering what other proline tires can I run.
I rolled my 11101 really hard and the esc immediately came off the deck. I had just bought it too. So I had to use some good glue to put it back in place. I also broke the arm/diff holder after a head on collision. Other than that it's very durable. Only bad thing is waiting so long for parts. I bought extra ones just in case...
My jlb cheetah is awesome but mind came in pulling hard right and the steering trem has to be almost turned all the way one way to fix it mostly... Also my light on and off switch dont seem to work
Based primarily on this review, I plunked down the $280-ish at gearbest and received my 21101 today. The package showed up undamaged, but inside, one of the shocks had separated from the ball head buckle on the a-arm. It looked like it was just not properly screwed in - and none of the parts (springs, rings, and shock retainer) - so I reassembled it. Fortunately I took a pic first. As soon as I ran it on my street, the shock one again pulled free of the buckle. Apparently the threads in the plastic part were stripped out. I contacted gearbest - but in the meantime I've ordered all the necessary parts (and then some) from Banggood. I did notice several other screws all over the body that appeared to not be screwed in all the way. They tightened up. And others, were already stripped. Seems the QC may not be top-notch. Still, even with the broken shock, this thing cooks going down the street.
I wonder if MIP or Integy makes drive shafts, and axles and aluminum aftermarket parts for this rig. Or even RPM for the a arms and such. Looks like it's a nice rig to go and abuse without a lot of breakage. Another great video.
Steve, you're right the the plastic bit that's in front of the trigger holds the antenna (its crammed in there). I drilled a small hole on the top of the TX and pushed it into that. Crazy design if you ask me!
I have a Cheetah and Im having trouble with the rear of the car bouncing when it lands from a jump Ive adjusted the shocks and even changed the oil to 35 weight any suggestions ?

My jlb 21101 recently stopped working properly. It wouldn't listen to my commands and would engage throttle when i wasn't holding the trigger. The steering would stop working after a few turns, and the lights would flicker when i would turn. I already tried putting in a new receiver and transmitter, but that didn't work. I'm fairly new to rc, could somebody tell me what's wrong?

Just received my cheetah today and took it for a drive had it out 10 mins when it stopped responding when I checked the esc is blinking a series of lights red then green then both together looked all over to find the issue do you Have any idea what it could be thanks in advance

No rear wing in the monster version, so 1 of the bad points of this rc is fixed i think.. the rear wheelie bar of the monster seems also more resistent due to the mount more stable.. can you confirm? hey i wanted to ask i really want to get this car but for the price i was wondering scenes you have it how is it does it drive straight without you touching the steering after its trimmed also after running full battery at like same speed and stuff u did does the motor get hot or anything on the stock battery also how did the gears hold up and stuff also did u have any problems with it ?? would really like to know if it's worth the money cuz if the esc burns up fast I can't really afford to buy a new esc I just want to know how long did the electric hold up... thanks great video
Hey mate, it tracks ok in a straight line. Always with these cheaper RTR kits the servo is not the strong point. It seems to center ok but the servo is something I always change in the future. Yes the motor does get hot to touch although nothing that is out of the ordinary. This was the same same on all types of batteries I use. The gears are fine, no issues. Just need to occasionally check the mesh. I would not run it in water as there have been reports of the ESC having issues. I still think it is a great RC, always performance and excellent bang for buck.
we picked one up and my son drove it in the snow. it was amazing until we tried to start it up the next day after re charging the battery. now it will act like it wants to turn on but as soon as we let off the button it shuts off. not sure these are very water/moisture resistant
Ok so I figured out what is going on. I turn my rc on and it doesn't move (like normal) the moment I even barely move the trigger one way, the truck will start moving and keep going constantly without stopping so I have to manually shut the car off. Why is this happening?

Old cheetahs springs are way too hard, heard of people using 80wt oil and still no diffrence. Also vkar bison springs fit and are softer apparently

Could try resetting esc to factory default or re binding transmitter? Once it flashes fast all red then you got a bad esc.

No chance, expensive and aluminium has no flex. A decent quality plastic is more than enough. Unfortunately this one breaks too easily

Super review RC. Really complete. I want to buy this model.. I have to decide between the cheetah or the truggy as your.. except the body shell what are the other main differences? No rear wing in the monster version, so 1 of the bad points of this rc is fixed i think.. the rear wheelie bar of the monster seems also more resistent due to the mount more stable.. can you confirm? Last thing, the battery lipo.. i want to buy other 2 lipos with 5000/6000 mha.. i wanna run at least 30 mins.. is it possible? Thank you for your answer :) cheers from italy

hey i wanted to ask i really want to get this car but for the price i was wondering scenes you have it how is it does it drive straight without you touching the steering after its trimmed also after running full battery at like same speed and stuff u did does the motor get hot or anything on the stock battery also how did the gears hold up and stuff also did u have any problems with it ?? would really like to know if it's worth the money cuz if the esc burns up fast I can't really afford to buy a new esc I just want to know how long did the electric hold up... thanks great video
Hey mate, it tracks ok in a straight line. Always with these cheaper RTR kits the servo is not the strong point. It seems to center ok but the servo is something I always change in the future. Yes the motor does get hot to touch although nothing that is out of the ordinary. This was the same same on all types of batteries I use. The gears are fine, no issues. Just need to occasionally check the mesh.
I would not run it in water as there have been reports of the ESC having issues. I still think it is a great RC, always performance and excellent bang for buck.

we picked one up and my son drove it in the snow. it was amazing until we tried to start it up the next day after re charging the battery. now it will act like it wants to turn on but as soon as we let off the button it shuts off. not sure these are very water/moisture resistant

Ok so I figured out what is going on. I turn my rc on and it doesn't move (like normal) the moment I even barely move the trigger one way, the truck will start moving and keep going constantly without stopping so I have to manually shut the car off. Why is this happening?
