Uros Jovcic I’m horrible. Didn’t play for 22 years, not a single game. Was. 1400 in the early 90’s. I forgot 100% of what I knew. I’m a solid backgammon player, I spend 30-50 hours on that. I like to watch chess to relax from BG.

There’s 2 kind of cancers. With one it grows on itself, and pushed your organs away. But the bad one grows, without pushing, but actually ‘eating’ your organs away. That’s the main difference.
9:53 why is that checkmate? If he moved his king to f1 then after the check his king could go to e2. 12:13 Queen takes bishop cause of threat of knight f6? How would Queen d8 go? Knight to f6, check, king to h8, queen to h3, pawn h6, then what?
In first case he would just respond with Qc4, forcing a cover move that would trap the king... and in 2nd case, people don't usually move pieces on back rank unless there's a strategy involved, and I think opponent just blundered that queen.
In backgammon any drinking is very bad for your game. Unless your just a recreational player. But for serious competitive players no alcohol is a winning idea. Red Bull or coffee helps actually.
I often think deeper than that, but definitely not as quickly as he does. What he showed isn't that complicated. Trust me when I say this, but that demonstration barely scratches the surface of how deeply hikaru thinks. He's truly on another level.
Hikaru not at the races for this chapter. Mainly to do with reading the chat and commenting, but it also appears he wasn't long rolling out of bed. Edit: Hikaru informs the entire chat there wasn't a mate solution and demonstrates all the variations. Super GM indeed.
Don't you think that if he was using a computer he should have crushed Hikaru? Instead all he managed to do was a draw by perpetual, which Hikaru refused by sacrificing more material, and then lost.
Ludovic - Valentin Brasso The account was closed after 8 days so... if you have watched popular streamers against cheaters videos, these cheaters offers a draw very early into the game almost every time, maybe to avoid getting exposed because winning against a gm raises suspicion and gets them banned almost immediately every time.
Hikaru, if you ever want to play some Dota, I'd love to teach you if you're new to the game. I've played thousands of hours and I'd enjoy sharing what I know with you.

Rivers1 As white learn how to play against the main defenses if you play d4 (Queens gambit, KID, Grunfeld and Nimzo/Queens Indian) If you don't want to spend a lot of time in it you can also play KIA or 1.b3 against anything because lots of masters do it and it's better than the London System
Rivers1 Also if you don't know much about a certain opening you can take a more conservative approach like exchanging the pawns on KID, Slav or Queens Gambit declined. Then work with the middlegame.
