Thank you, East West Instruments, for sharing such an amazing piece of history: the Steve Stevens Guitar samples. The maestro deserves the biggest of recognition, as he is responsible for his amazing guitar sounds for most 90s soundtracks in games!
"We're meeting Trexx over there!"😁 This is an exceptional remix/remaster of such a great track from HOTD2 and an amazing display of your musical craftsmanship and passion that you've brought forth with your own unique spin on this memorable musical number. If ever there was a HD remake of HOTD2, this music that you've created would most certainly have to be in it.
“Nooo! Help me!” “Need to hurry...what?!” - James Taylor “James!” - Harry Harris “Amy! Harry! The chaos of this city’s increasing!” - James Taylor “Well it’s about that. It seems like Goldman-“ - Harry Harris “AAAAAHHHHH!!!” “Wait. We’ll talk later!” - James Taylor
When it comes to level OST. This is the best one, hands down. Just makes you FEEL like a badass and every remix and remake of this song manages to keep that.
It SHOULD closer to the original because East West Instruments gave me an exclusive sample pack of “Steve Stevens Guitar Samples” 😃 I could not be more grateful to be able to use such a relic of sounds for my collection!
I really love when you make them so similar to the original. The first couple of seconds I thought I hit the wrong video! You should make more "classic sounding" remakes, they always turn out amazing. As always, nice work. Also, what software do you use?
I’m glad you appreciate the hard work that goes into transcribing the music. My first “remasters” on these games really strayed away from the original sound, and since people weren’t very fond of that, I decided to redo some of my tracks and really take some time with them to make these the definitive versions. I use Logic Pro X with a variety of plugins from Native Instruments and East West. I also mentioned in the pinned comment that East West handed me an exclusive license to the original guitar synths used for Metal Slug and The House of the Dead 😁
@@trexx45 I still think all of your tracks are great though :) Im just in love with these remakes so much and I know you have so much potential to remake them astoundingly! Thanks for the info BTW, im looking to upgrade as I'm still making remakes with audacity lol.
Do you have the lossless versions of the 1 and 2 soundtracks you have produced? They are absolutely sublime and I'd love to have them for my sound setup
@trexx45 I have a home Atmos setup, so was just for personal use. I'd happily pay for the lossless version if you have it? Just that YT compression removes some of the audio quality
"We're flying right over the Sunset Bridge. Something or someone has... taken... the city."
Need to hurry
''Thanks, Sunset bridge is just ahead''

2:19 hits hard love it
1:19 beats my heart
That was genuinely the most boring part. Cyandude knows wassup 🔥
this sounds a lot like a final fantasy pixel remaster battle theme with that trumpet, love it

I'm glad you enjoy it! I don't think I will ever be done with these series. It's just my favorite

It's like a mix of James Bond, 80s-90s music and big band. This was super fun to remix!
Now this......
This is epic
"My dad's still inside."
“My son...”
“He’s waiting for you outside.” - James Taylor
"We're flying right over at Sunset Bridge."
"Something. Or someone has taken the city."
Help me Help me!! NOOOOO!!!
nostalgic feeling
MAN I hope they don’t goof up 2’s remake.
a lot more closer to the original good work!

Banger 🔥
I need to start to save this musics as a comfort playlist for when they destroy this masterpiece in the remake of 2.
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and be too harsh with the compositions. Let’s wait and see if they had the rights to the music next time. 😃
i think the remake’s songs are cool and people is just being too harsh about it
@@trexx45 Fingers crossed but tbf I still liked the first remakes soundtrack even if it had to change a lot of things.
Great work!
Good stuff.

What is your sound setup? I would love to share the music only if it is used to promote it. I wouldn’t want to give away my work for free 😃
