    I’ve been doing these for the past 6+ months since I first saw in your channel. Definitely one of the best tips and exercises I have implemented into my routine. So much so I’m now that guy at the gym saying people who are still doing DB laterals “have you ever tried those with a cable? A humble has no resistance at the bottom cuz of gravity” lol Also, this video is huge for me because I never thought of those other cues and will have to try those tomorrow. Thanks hunter keep up the good work!!

    Kevin Laverne changed the way we did laterals … he started to lead with the elbow rather than the wrist. And now Hunter and Nick brought back doing side laterals leading with the wrist. I think leading with the elbow builds thicker side delts as you can use more weight provided the technical aspect is correct. However, as a Pro Bodyuilder now in my 60’s at 5-7 weighing 245 pounds i like doing both versions. ❤❤❤

      I saw Rich Caspari doing the same cable rise in 1984 but only single armed..these days Joe hypertrophy coach is doing it too

    Hey Hunter, is it possible to do a video on doing workouts targeting at the lower portion of the PEC got the top portion like a shelf but have a hard time getting my lower PEC I know I can probably Google that but I love your approach to fully explaining different ways... Much love and respect brother...

    Nice tip. But a question about physiology , if when your upper arm gets higher than parallel to the floor the traps take over from the delts, then on shoulder press, for a lot of the exercise the upper arm is above the shoulder, so does that mean all that range of movement is trap rather than delt as well?

      Shoulder press and high incline press main mover is your front delt and upper pec fibers. Medial delts are primary mover for abducting your arm!
