The final update on the last story is that the dress was sold to someone else and the teenager who made it is using the money when he goes to college. Also, Aunt Bridezilla ended up with a last-minute off-the-rack dress that she had to pay for and that didn't look as good. So, karma won.
I think it's disgusting that she didn't invite her 17 year old brothers son though! Hope her family see's her for the person that she is underneath after this. 😒
There was another update to the last story! They calculated the value of the dress to be 18-24,000 dollars(which is why the sister freaked out). They had put it up for sale online and found a buyer, who op said looked beautiful in the dress and was much more grateful than entitled sister. Her son now has a sizeable college fund. EDIT: THE DAD IS OP!!!
Looks like he has a future in wedding dress making if he wants it. Obviously we don’t know how many hours he put into it but seems like he could make a decent living off of it. Selling what is essentially a piece of art for 18-24k when you are 17 is pretty impressive.
Agreed 💯% His future success will definitely be there. She could have had an early piece from an up and coming designer. That dad is definitely an all-star.
He's be close enough to legal drinking age in almost every country of the world bride is being REALLY horrible here and I would have stuck up for my son too!
Can we all appreciate that they followed the 17 year olds wishes and didn't post a picture of the dress. Thank you to all the parents who let their children have the choice over their online presence. Yes the support top, but to me it's more important that the parent let their 17 year old have a choice about their voice through the entirety of the situation.
Makes sense if he designed it that he wouldn’t want a knock off running around or for someone else to sell a knockoff claiming it was his to use his goodwill.
I loved that the son decided against sharing a photo of the dress, because I think he was being considerate of the woman who bought and loved it. This would be her dress, for her day. It wouldn't be the wedding dress that got splashed over the Internet. The buyer's wedding guests would see the bride and how beautiful she was. They wouldn't be seeing the controversial backstory. That 17 year old has profound good taste. I'm sorry that his aunt treated him so badly and hurt him by excluding him from the wedding. She should have been so honored that he was family; that he had made her look fantastic on that wedding day. A decent person would have been smiling and insisting on having him as a guest of honor. Serve him mocktails but make him drunk by lavishing him with praise and love.
For those wondering about the wedding dress the 17 yo made, they sold for 30k to a lovely soon-to-be bride who paid extra because the dress was handmade by a 17yo. And Aunty had to go panic shopping for a new white dress and has been crying ever since. She was not smiling in the wedding photos. This newest update I found in r/Bestof
i’m very glad she didn’t get the dress. and that he earned good money for that dress. he was probably imagining attending the wedding and seeing his design & how happy his aunt was while working so hard on it. he’s seventeen, that’s nearly an adult. to not make an exception for him is a very rude & dumb move. he made ur wedding dress, & is ur family. & is seventeen. there’s no reason to be so strict on ur rule, acting like seventeen year olds don’t find alcohol themselves anyways. he deserves a drink too after all that 😂 if ur worried about how he’d behave at the wedding, jus tell him. ur not afraid to tell him to fix this & that and nag him constantly about the dress so what is ur dealllll 💀💀💀🤦🏼♀️
That's wonderful. Hope he becomes a famous designer. Also i totally understand not posting the dress initially because so many companies out here steal designs
I have dealt with a narcissist and I can guarantee that the reason the sister didn't want her nephew there is because everyone would admire the dress, find out he made it, and he would get attention and she doesn't want the incredible talent of her nephew to "overshadow" her day. EDIT: Oh my gosh! Thank you! This is the most likes I've ever gotten! 😅
I’ve only have cried doll dresses and cosplay! A whole wedding dress?!?!? Dude is amazing!! I’m glad someone else got the dress and not the awful auntie
If I had a nephew that could make beautiful dresses, plus my sister payed for all the material, I would not only invite him but also give him special treatments at the wedding, and make everyone give them an applause. And that's just the LEAST I would do. I don't understand how you can be so ungrateful and unkind to someone who does something so incredible just for you, and for FREE nontheless
I would make my nephew get some business cards made up, make sure he put pockets in my dress, and hella fill those pockets with his business cards. "OH, you like my dress? Here's the maker's business card."
As someone who is borderline blind, if a bride demanded I take off my glasses, you bet I will. And then I'll walk into something or someone on purpose, multiple times, loudly exclaiming, "it's all for the aesthetic!" If you don't want me to see, fine, I'll make sure everyone knows that this is what you wanted.
Respect to the dad for supporting his son. If the bride wasn't planning to invite the 17 year old, she should've made that clear from the beginning AND, of course, paid for the dress. You can't expect a wedding gift (especially one that's not only expensive, but also took a lot of time and effort to put together) from someone you didn't even invite to your wedding!
I agree with those points, but something to consider...usually kid free weddings are respected as such without questions. OP made it very clear his son is the ONLY minor...on HIS side of the family. Family also being a key word there. He says NOTHING about the grooms family, nor the bride or grooms friends. We're supposed to believe that out of all the guests, from both families and friends, that hes the ONLY one with a minor child? Exceptions arent usually made because if you make it for one person, EVERYONE else will want the same special treatments. Especially the parents with even younger kids that will be paying for sitters, possibly overnight. THATS why child free weddings are supposed to be respected. Its not fair to put the bride and groom in that kind of position that could end up costing them more for the extra count. Because it starts with 1...how many will it end with by the big day? People are saying how its sad he doesnt get to see the dress he made in the wedding. 2 things here: wedding dress makers dont usually see the dresses walking down the aisle. They just make the dress and sell it. And...its not like he wouldnt be able to see it, as video is usually taken. Sure it wont be personal, but not impossible. She def should have let him known before hand and offered some money for it. But she shouldnt have to change her wedding and start making exceptions because her brother doesnt get their family arent going to be the only guests, let alone guests with minor children.
@@Rhaenarys Like Melissa M. Sutton noticed, wedding doesn't equal reception. The bride could've invited the 17 year old only to the ceremony, not to the party afterwards. And any position she found herself in... I think she put herself there. It would've been different if the son had offered to make the dress for her, but she asked him and didn't offer to pay for it, so clearly she expected all this hard work from a minor for nothing, not even getting to see his creation on the big day. I think that's cruel tbh
@@weronikalinda4917 again though...that would be the same excuse everyone would make. If you make an exception for one, others are going to expect it, also, with the same reasons. His own family could be some of these guests including his own siblings. I think she should have handled it better than she did, however, its not fair to expect her to make exceptions for anyone knowing its going to cause drama in some way when its her wedding. Basically, any reason for why he should be able to go is the same for the rest of rhe guests.
The last story was definitely a “I don’t want my nephew overshadowing me.” Story. People would have found out that he made the dress, and he would’ve gotten tons of compliments on the talent and the time that he spent on it. Miss bridezilla did not want that, so she didn’t invite him. If OP had decided to let her use the dress, I am 95% sure that she would have said that a designer made that dress and not her nephew. Good on OP for not giving it to her sister, and I’m happy to see that the son is using the money he received on college, he has a bright future ahead of him!
As someone who is a couture wedding dress designer, I can tell you that the young man put in an extraordinary number of hours into creating that dress; it takes me an average of 140 hours from sketches, to toile, to finished dress. It is a lot of work and the very best job on this planet! The bride is a collaborator; the designer is the technician. My greatest joy is being invited to watch her walk down the aisle wearing the product of that partnership. Hopefully, his future will be filled with many such opportunities!
Someone posted in the above comments that the 17yr old sold the dress and is using the $$$ for when he goes to college and the bride ended up with a off the rack dress..... Not there yet just scrolling through the comments and already know I'm going to like this one
It's true! As an artist and creator nothing is as rewarding than watching what you created for someone and to see them with it. It shows that they do appreciate the effort you put through for them. It's kinda like love but platonically.
he probably spend like 400 hours to the whole stuff, and the fittings and alterations, seems has been a bit difficult ! at side of the time spent, the psychologic damage cannot have a price. brides and their insecurities ! this aunt and her bad behavior !... make me ... greee....
@@mathilde1212 oh yeah for sure, I should have said that when they sold the dress they added the total hrs of time spent of it and the kid did get a pretty good chunk of change out of it... Somewhere in the above comments they mentioned the thread on Reddit...
One of my bridesmaids is legally blind and photo sensitive, she wore sunglasses during the ceremony and I INSISTED that her dog walk down the aisle with her as my pup of honor. I got her a beautiful white lace bow for her hair and a bandana that almost perfectly matched the color of the bridesmaids dresses. Never in a million years did I think to actually ask her not to wear her sunglasses (fleeting thought? Yes, it was unusual under my normal circumstances) she needs what little eyesight she has not to give her a migraine when there’s lights on, it’s medically necessary for her to wear them. How the hell could that bride insist to the point of driving her friends away that this person be blind for her ceremony and reception? that’s not only cruel but dangerous. People make me upset sometimes.
This is the way it should be. I don’t understand why people want their friends to stand and support them in their wedding, but not look at anything like themselves dying hair, covering tattoos, removing glasses… it is all ridiculous.
as someone who can’t see anything but blurs of colour 10cm past my eyes without glasses, i have so much respect for the bridesmaids who walked out with her when the bride threw a tantrum over her wearing glasses - if someone did that to me, i’d never speak to them again
That's what I was thinking of if I had to not wear my glasses for an event. Not to mention, the complete headache you'd get not wearing them. I can't put contacts in (my eyes won't let me, lol), so I wouldn't have been able to go. I'm glad that bridesmaid has true friends there to back her up.
I was just thinking that it's the equivalent of telling someone they can't use their mobility aid. Some people have vision impairments. Glasses help them live their life. It was completely uncalled for to do that.
Exactly, there had to be a reason why contacts weren't an option. I mean, I use glasses, but I don't really like me that much with glasses so I wear contacts during the day and specially during fancy ocations. I also prefer contacts because, unlike glasses, they have no blind spots. There are still a ton of reasons why she wouldn't go for contacts: they can be expensive, maybe her sight is so bad that they are literally not an option, she might have very sensitive eyes or a high sensitivity to light, and so on. Without glasses or my contacts I'm literally a liability, I'm a danger to me and society. And, if she, herself, doesn't use contacts by her own will, it is for a reason. You cannot just force someone to put themselves in danger for an "aesthetic photo", period. She can get hurt, she can hurt someone, she might break something or ruin something, just, no.
The thought of a man and his husband shooting my wedding together would melt my heart! Imagine the amount of love that brings them together during these events, I bet their portfolio(s) look stunning.
There was a further update to the wedding dress debacle. He sold the dress to someone online (I believe) who absolutely loved it (too expensive for auntie but not too expensive for someone who really wanted it). AND the family that didn't go to the wedding had their own party the day of. Love that for both OP & his son.
As someone who already made a couple of clothing pieces on his own I can't believe the audacity in the last story. A wedding dress that most likely took hundreds, if not thousands of hours to make ALL BY ONE PERSON, while struggling through high school and life at the same time for a dress that by itself was most likely more expensive than the whole wedding... I'd be sooo pissed to not be paid even a small amount but even more so to he the only one not even being invited... Good thing his family was so supportive and he was the sole winner.
Agreed! Also some one commented above that according to the recent update the wedding dress' all cost were upto 18 to 24K and thats why the aunt freaked out. The dress did sell later on and now the kid has a sizeable college fund.

@@TalkaboutRandomness and that's what I call sweet karma! If only she invited him and could have gotten that amount herself (would be just as rude but fortunately it went to someone who deserved it)
Right?? To put so much time and love into that dress, it was clear and obvious he expected to be paid with the experience of seeing his own creation walked down the aisle -- and his aunt couldn't even grant him that! I'm so glad he had a supportive parent in his corner.
Not a wedding, but my prom. I come from a Christian family (I still am). My mom has a great friend from when she worked back at the hospital who's gay. She may not always agree with him, but she's always there for him when he needs it. He took us to a close friend of his (a drag queen), who designs all of his costumes and suits for his fancier events. They were so kind and so freaking talented. They made me feel like the prettiest girl ever in that dress they made for me. Honestly, it's still the most amazing dress I own and they finished it in 2 days time.
A little off the topic but timely. I managed a fabric store for 20 years and my favorite customers were the drag queens. I loved being able to work with them designing over the top clothing with lots of bling, unleashing my creative side. Occasionally some would come to the store in full costume so we could see how well it turned out. They were fun, creative, gracious, and thankful for our help.
I honestly think disagreeing in friendships is a very healthy thing. It means both people are comfortable being themselves and also being able to discuss different sides to things is a very nice way to cultivate a friendship. My best friends are the ones who doesn't feel bad about having differing opinions and the other way around!
Disagreeing with someone’s existence is not the same as disagreeing about politics. Gay people exist. It’s not a “topic” it’s a fact of existence and we don’t have to tolerate people who don’t understand that. Disagreement is a placating word. There’s nothing to disagree over.
Actually, I don't think it's disagreeing. I consider it none of my business. I don't ask couples considered hetro how they have sex so why would I care about anyone else? And being Christian I'm very careful where I throw my stones. I truly believe they bounce.
I was a really relaxed bride, to the point I tried to offer the "here's the color, pick a dress that flatters you," option to my sisters. Both of them were like, "we are too busy to shop like this. Pick a dress, pick a date, and we will be there for fittings, please and thank you." 🤣 I was like 'welp, I tried!"
That's what my friend did! We found a website and all got the same colour. We even found that they had an outlet collection and the most expensive dress was $32 that retailed for $120! She was so amazing and accommodating for all of us
Charlotte there was another update to the last story, here it is Update: Sorry for the delay, but it's been a busy week. Many family members skipped sister's wedding and decided to have a party at a cousin's house instead of attending the wedding. My sister is obviously very upset and has cut as all off her social media. She got another dress to get married, but everyone thought it was cheap compared to what she was going to wear. And I would also like to inform you that someone already bough the dress that my son made, it was for a good price and that will help him cover this college costs
The bride who didn't invite her nephew who made her wedding dress, didn't invite him because I think she felt he would upstage her. Everyone would be raving about the dress and fussing over him for his talent and she couldn't handle that the attention might be off her for 5 minutes. lol. I'm glad that his Dad did the right thing.
@@lmarislmarislmaris4271 if my nephew made me a beautiful wedding gown I'd be bragging about him to everyone and anyone on how talented he is. just because it's my wedding day it doesn't mean I can't share the spotlight with my nephew who went out of his way to make me look beautiful
Heck, yeah! I'd give him multiple shout-outs and at least one spotlight during the reception. She could have been a promoter, but she chose to be a mere exploiter. Sorta the Colonel Tom Parker of wedding dress design. She got what she (and Parker) deserved.
The last one does seem to be one of the clearest cases of NTA ever. The son is lucky to have such a loving parent who supports his talents and stands up for him. I love that he sold it and is putting it towards his future. I hope he gets a few photos of the new bride in her dress for his portfolio. It sounds like he has a very promising future and I wish him luck and success! He may be the next Christian Siriano (who also started out young and designs beautiful dresses). 💗
My daughter is also artistically talented. She makes all kinds of gifts, paintings and photos for people. She really spends a lot of time, effort, and her own money to be this creative. She’s eighteen and working her way into a great art program at college. Everyone loves her work, and I’m so proud of her. I can’t imagine anyone in my family completely disregarding her existence especially after doing so much for them. Yeah, I think I’d have to wash my hands of that sister as well.
As someone who wears glasses, telling me to just go without them for even a photo would have been hit with a hard no. I don’t like not being able to see and while a crowd of people is already unnerving with sight, being trapped in a sea of faces that blur together like a monster from “cooking companions” is pure panic attack fuel.
Agree. I could see asking for a big group photo when you’re all standing still. However, if the person refuses, drop it. Don’t keep harassing them. That gets you no where.
Ditto. I’m almost legally blind. I lose all sense of distance and depth because I can’t see what I’m headed for. I can stand still without my glasses, but don’t ask me to move. 🤓
I can see without my glasses, but from the extra effort my eyes and head start to hurt, if that was me, half the wedding party would have my eyes closed to control the migraines :b
Not everyone can wear contacts too. And so even if the bridezilla suggests them to them it would be difficult. Firstly for the eye exam as you have to get one done to be fitted for prescription contacts and then ordering them. I doubt the bride would be the one paying for all of that too. : /
For the glasses story it’s also really weird that she waited until the day of the wedding to tell the bridesmaid that she can’t wear her glasses. She had to know she wore glasses before this and maybe if the bride asked the girl could’ve gotten contacts for the occasion or made other arrangements but she knew it would be an issue and thought she could strong arm the bridesmaid the day of. I’m super glad she got what she deserved.
She was being the bully she's always been. She knew exactly what she was doing, and it's worked every time in the past; she had no reason to believe everyone wouldn't kowtow to her. She found out.
@@teresatapscott1131 definitely. She probably knew that if she brought it up before then it would cause issues and didn’t want to risk not getting what she wanted. And you’re very right, they probably gave in a bunch during the planning process so she expected to just bulldoze them into it. She learned the hard way.
I’m too lazy to double-check, but I could swear it was explained in the story. Originally, the bride wants the glasses girl to not have her glasses on for the pictures. But during the wedding, she changes her tune and says no glasses at all.
It's honestly not even okay to ask someone to wear contacts for the day if they don't regularly wear contacts. Contacts have a getting used to period where you're supposed to wear them for short periods, extending the time a bit each time. Contacts also aren't cheap, and not everyone can or wants to wear them. Either accept the person with their glasses or not at all. Another side note is having allergies, a small cold, or any type of eye irritation means no contacts. They can also get messed up in the middle of the day. So it could happen on the day of that the person may not be able to wear them and has to wear glasses instead. Contacts should never be an expectation.
the first one.AMEN SISTER! I'm also a Christian/Catholic and I grew up learning to NOT judge others but to love your neighbors. only thing you're canceling is the freaking HATE of that insane bride🎉
I agree with you, but (and I can see the comments coming my way) I personally didn't feel hate, that is a very strong word to use, she even said the photographer was very nice, it's just her beliefs, and as we must respect the photographer's, we gotta accept some people don't share those beliefs. No hate here, just saying that she wasn't aggressive expressing her opinions, and as long as we are all cordial to each other, I guess it's OK?
Love the rich husband who was super chill and decorated the pig, the aunt behaved like royalty even though she wasn't yet rich, HE was and yet so humble 😂
I love a mix of antique and modern aesthetics, and would love a castle with modern pieces added in. That said, I sure as hell would not expect a venue to change their furniture for me. Insane.
You could do fairytale or ballroom formal styles in a castle. But if you want specific furniture, ask the venue if they could move their furniture and you could bring your own and take it home with you after.
I still don't get that Bridezilla's 'aesthetic', because she wanted a White-Tie event with ballgowns for the women, in a castle in Europe BUT also hated all the antiques and wanted 'modern' furniture... The whole POINT of White-Tie and a Castle Wedding is to go very antique, if not borderline 'Medieval Age themed Wedding'. Anything 'modern' in that setting would stick out like a sore-thumb.
When I got married and had my bridesmaids asking if I wanted them to cover tattoos, where contacts, how I want their hair, etc. I was shocked. I was like umm whatever you want. I didn’t realize that was a thing. Lol.
I agree! My bridesmaids were asking me about their hair color and piercings, and makeup. I honestly just said I didn't care what their hair color was as long as it was freshly dyed, clean, and didn't clash with the dresses. Lol!
Oh look, a normal person. How very normal of you. Hahaha. Seriously though - RIGHT?! I mean, I cannot fathom how one could be otherwise, to value his fucking wedding photos over his friends. And then they wonder why the get divorced, when they value things over relationships.
Id tell them to go get more tats 🤣 Kidding but seriously tattoos being a problem is stupid I mean if they were inappropriate I'd understand but just anyold tattoo nope Like I don't have any tattoos myself but I'm planning on getting 10 really meaningful tattoos if anyone asked me to cover them I'd be pissed. (If your wondering why do many. 4 of my pets 2 cats 2 dogs. Then my mum and dad then both my Nan's and pops. If your interested for some reason in what I'm getting: Animals Dog:sandman (from rise of guardians on his chest he had a white patch that looked like him) Dog:A paw print Cat:A heart cause 2 of her spots look like hearts Cat: socks cause he looks like he has little black and white socks My parents I'm getting a matching tattoo with my mum Not sure for dad yet My grand parents Pop: Magpie (cause he loved Collingwood the football team) Pop: a bulldog cause of a football team Nan: swan cause of a football team Nan: a Dolphin cause she just liked dolphins lmao the only grandparent that doesn't have a football themed one. And i have other plans but they won't be as meaningful to me as these 10.
I'd be pissed if someone asked me to be in their wedding, and knowing I wear glasses 24/7 but rudely scream at me to not wear them like wtf I'm not allowed to see now?? 😂 I'm so confused
I’m glad that the dad backed up his son, and that the son was able to sell the dress, and put it towards college. Good for him, he sounds so talented and skilled, I’m super excited for him!
I keep telling my mom about how gay people are constantly being discriminated against. Since she or my family doesn’t feel that way she thinks I’m playing victim. The photo story and the updates from the dress story are perfect examples of our talents and arts being good enough but we are not. For any who don’t know a lot of us s feel like we’re under constant attack and it’s quite exhausting.
It depends on where you live. I think "constantly" is a bit much. Yes, fundamentalist Christians have a problem with it...presumably, you would live somewhere that doesn't have fundamentalist Christians. There are many such places.
That first girl concerning the photographer was very pragmatic and practical, she saw the bigger picture and opted to walk away from the business, sometimes it’s necessary to refuse business after doing a cost benefit assessment, she showed great maturity.
Also as she noted, she did not want any legal problems. The bride could still sue her but it is far easier to dismiss a suit if she refunded the money. In some states, the bride could also get in trouble for bringing a suit deemed frivolous.
Omg that 17 year old who made the dress just WOW. Having that kind of talent not only to make a dress but a wedding dress...just wow. I wish we could've seen it because I bet it was gorgeous.
I wish I could have seen the dress too. If it went for that much money it must have been absolutely gorgeous. If anyone finds a picture of the dress I would love to see it.
I witnessed my boss cancel a Bridezilla's wedding and it was glorious. The wedding was weeks away. The Bridezilla was so disrespectful and rude. My boss said, "What did you say to me? How dare you speak to me like that! I think I'm going to cancel your wedding. Let me talk to the owner and I'll call you right back." The owner said to do it. She called back 2 minutes later and said,"Your wedding is canceled. Go somewhere else. I'm refunding your deposit. It will be mailed today. The Bridezilla had to learn the hard way.
I really applaud the first woman. I initially wanted to say she deserved some form of pay but on a pragmatic and emotional level she squished any questions I had… Good for her 👏
The last story: He actually did sell the dress and got a lot of money for it, since it was a custom hand-made dress. If I remember, hardly anyone went to the wedding. And I believe that the young man is now going to school to be a designer.
I am so grateful that he calculated the worth of it, without flinching or downplaying his own time - and he sold it to someone who was willing to pay what it was worth! I so hope he continues designing if that's what he wants, too.
The last story is exactly why I won’t ever make wedding dresses for anyone. That happens way more often than people realize and it’s really disheartening
Yeah, I'm a sewer as well and a friend asked me for a wedding dress and she stated up front her budget was $200. Not two thousand, two HUNDRED. Being lowballed by a friend who supposedly "appreciates your craft" is....... Yikes.
Can attest to this. I have a small business working as a professional seamstress, and the number of times I've had people ask me to make them a custom formal gown because the $600 one online is too expensive is just ridiculous. I once had one of my mums friends ask me to make her granddaughter a princess gown (full skirt, embellishments and everything) and her budget was $80...
oh the last story made me so mad, the sheer audacity to accept the services of a minor and yet he can't go to the wedding bc he's a minor?? Fuck that, selling it is the best option indeed. Props to the dad for sticking up to his kiddo and I wish this talented person the best with his passion for fashion
With the castle story, I wanted to have a masquerade dance for my 16th birthday and my mom thought it was okay and maybe the church we attended would allow us to use the gym, etc. I ended up not doing it because I knew some of my friends couldn’t afford fancy clothes so I instead invited friends over for pizza, cake and Wii games. Awesome day
She really went above and beyond for that bigoted bridezilla. Giving the bride the spreadsheet she did as well as the list of photographers as well as a full refund was more than the bride deserved. Though rather than looking at what the planner provided her as the planner being kind to a douchecanoe, I prefer to look at it as the planner hedging her bets in case the bride does decide to take the planner to court. I’m thinking the bride would have a difficult time proving the planner was an anti Christian who was being discriminatory towards the bride when the planner did more than she really had to for the bride.
I make prom dresses and other specialty type clothes but I stay away from wedding dresses. One wedding is all I have time and patience for. The thought of this young man being treated badly by a family member is so maddening. He deserve the same respect as any other craftsman.
Idk man, I was a bride as well and I organized my entire wedding just the way I wanted it in just a month or so with 120+ people. But I lost a friend or at least I thought she was a friend. Months before my wedding I baptized her son. She didn't want to do anything fancy, I mean she wanted to but her husband is not that type so we basically just went to the church, baptized the boy then we went to their place and her husband made some bbq and that was it. Considering it was this casual, I told her a week before the event that I won't be wearing heels. Just a dress and some white snickers (it was really hot those days). And she laughed and she said something like "lol no worries, i know you since we were 3, I was not expecting heels, all good". xD About the clothes for the boy, about the candles, everything, I asked her what she prefers so I'll buy things that she likes and you know to actually use them. She barely answered to my calls and messages. I bought the best things I could afford back then. All good until a month before my wedding when she declined the invitation and her reasons being that I didn't listen to her with anything about the clothes for the kid, that she felt insulted when I told her about me not wearing heels and that her husband felt insulted cause he wasn't home when i dropped the invitation to their place (he was at work). xD xD Then she accused me that she is the only one working for our friendship and I was like wait hold on... I've been the only one calling and texting for the past 7 - 8 months. xD If I don't call, you don't call. xD Like... I have screenshots, baby, I'll show you. She was my friend since we were 3, I did everything I could for her anytime she needed help or wanted to be spoiled with stuff. I've been there for her all the time. She was there for me for a short while too, but idk... And before she gave birth to her son, she married. Same thing, no party, just us at the city hall and dinner at a restaurant. She put 0 effort in that. I searched for her dress, for her shoes, for her flowers, did her make-up etc. I felt used and gaslighted and I just decided to end the friendship. It's almost 10 months now and all I can say is that I really enjoy the quietness.
For the nephew making dress story: I would bet that on top of wanting a *free* *bespoke* dress, the bride didn’t want her nephew there because people would know he made the gown and would understandably be bowled over by his skill. Which means that some attention would be on him. The rule was made to exclude underage ppl, a list with only one name on it.
The wedding planner so good to hear a Christian saying they were taught to love others and not to judge. That’s the Christian principles I have and have bought my children up to follow. She’s also totally right there is money that’s better off not earning.
Lol open the Bible😂. No where does it say to love everyone and not judge anyone ever. I’m dead u are not a Christian pls stop speaking on a religion u obviously don’t seriously follow.
@@brittfrijhoff5610 I 💯 agree. Some Christians subscribe to bigotry and hatred but many of us follow the teaching of Jesus and try to treat everyone with love and acceptance.
Totally agree! My grandparents are Catholic. My cousin (their other granddaughter) is a lesbian who is getting married soon. They 100% support and love her and would never use their religion against her or any other queer people. Religion isn't an excuse for being a bad person.
The last story had my blood boiling but the first comment saying OP’s son should go to the wedding wearing the dress was the best ever! I got a tad too excited and yelled YES and accidentally scared my dog. I agree with OP that he was right to stand up for their son.
My husband and I planned our wedding and it was stressful as heck! But we didn’t let our pettiness cloud our judgment and we respect our vendors such as the flowers, the dress, bridesmaids dresses, rent suits, the restaurant catering, the makeup, the videographer and photographer… they were extremely professional and we made sure they get the payment instalments and the meals and breaks they need on the day.
Hey Charlotte! I wanted to thank you for highlighting the text while you read it. I'm trying to practice my english, I'm from Quebec and speaking french so I'm having issues to understand english when it is spoken so it helps me to read the text at the same time! I just wanted to let you know that it helps me a lot and I hope you'll continue to do it!
@@audreym3908 I wanna say like 3 videos ago?? She didn't explain him though lmao, I had to look around to find out he's Mike's dog not hers though by now he may be both of theirs?
Charlotte, your wedding/bridezilla videos are what keep me going. Thank you and thank everyone who commented with an update on the last story it's so satisfying to know karma won!!!!
That last one i applaude op for standing up to his son. His son got a bright future with that talent and patience he has while making that dress and im sure he'll be successful ! Never take talent for granted, that sister of op can never find such a perfect dress customly made for her with that attitude of hers.
As someone who needs glasses to see, asking someone to not wear their glasses the whole wedding is ridiculous not only for seeing purposes but also because of the side effects. When I don't wear my glasses for long periods because I'm at the beach or something, I become nauseous, get migraines, and feel dizzy. You're not only asking her not to see, you're asking her to literally feel sick and in pain
Imagine if the one bridesmaid had agreed to go without glasses all day ended up falling or running into something. I could imagine just how mad the bride would be if she bumped into decor or the wedding cake. I am so glad all the ladies stuck together and dipped out of the wedding. That is the kind of support that us women should be giving one another.
I'm so glad someone found out the final update on the dress. So happy for him to sell the dress and I hope the degree he's going for is in design because damn. He's going to be big if at 17 he's selling the dress at such a price.
I am so proud of the father and son from that last post. It's important to support your kids in their efforts and talents and defend them. The son deserved respect and recognition and compensation for everything he did, I'm glad things worked out for them.
The First Lady couldn’t be more nice. She is not homophobic, and even refunded her money, plus still have her a list of photographs she could still use. I think she handled it with class.
How did Shea handle it with class? She fired her client six months before her wedding because she wanted a different photographer. Put your feelings aside… It’s her religion.
What a great selection of karma bites bridezillas. The outcomes in each were very satisfying, and I learned about 'good' v. 'bad' money, supporting friends who will walk out en masse in the face of intransigent bullies, and some parents back their kids to the hilt. I'm very pleased the 17yo was able to sell the dress for enough to bolster his college fund.
Massive kudos to the dad and his obviously talented son! And charlotte I can’t even say how happy I would be if he ended up making your dress when it’s time. Talk about a beautiful full circle!
For the photographer who refunded that bridezilla’s money, I know people like to be “petty” and get back at people, but honestly there is power in taking the high road. You can set boundaries while also showing others a better way to be without giving them any kind of negative ammo against you. Props to her for truly being the better person:)
As a Christian, I don't see the problem with having gay photographers. This is a business transaction, I can't see why sexuality would have anything to do with it. You might hire a straight photographer and find out they do some weird shit behind closed doors, will you fire them too? Their private life is their own business and has nothing to do with you or your wedding.
@@Ciela531 She deserves it, but I’m just so happy to Charlotte found someone who loves her for her. I love watching Mikes videos and you can see how much he loves her and that’s all that really matters.
@@michelechesney3599 I agree, that's enough! Although we all seem to love Mike because he's funny and clearly loves our Charlotte, and we, of course, love Charlotte, and the two of them together is Kismet... there's still no reason to rush into marriage. If they never get married, that's fine too. True love lasts. I look at my friend from high school who met his soulmate in the early 1980s, who have been happily living and loving life together for decades. It's not that they didn't want to get married, it was because until 2015 they weren't _allowed_ to legally become each other's legal spouse. Tim and Carey have the kind of love and devotion that most only dream of. Same with my niece, who knew from day one that April was the one she wanted to spend her life with. Thing is, "April" was harassed "her" entire life because "she" looked and sounded like a boy. Couldn't use the women's restroom without someone screaming, even though born with female genitalia (he may have been born intersex, don't know because it's none of my business). In HIS heart, he was really "August". When they got married in Texas in 2015, they had comfortable combined income and good health insurance from my niece's career, so "April" became "August" through surgery and hormone treatments. They are very happy, and August is a handsome guy sporting a beard and a manly chest. They did move to a place where few people knew them before his change in appearance. It's a rural community outside Ft. Worth, where they have a few acres with horses. My niece loves telling us how all these evangelical Xstian country girls love flirting with her handsome husband! 😂 If they only knew...
👏 Such fantastic talent in a 17 year old! You can’t break the heart of a teenager like that - for making the dress he should be rewarded with a seat at the honour table! There IS, after all, alhoholfree age appropriate drinks. Further, bride & groom should pay him, thank him, praise his talents AND ask him to take a bow with applauds! I’d put above story in my appllcation letter for colleague if I were him. As a proof of his talent AND stamina. Finally: Great mum&dad supporting their kid & I would have done the same ❤
That 17 year old who made the dress is amazing. Destined for great things. The aunt was 100% out of order. She'll be gutted one day when he's a famous designer and she tries to flex saying he's family and he totally disowns her...
I'm obsessed with bridezilla videos!! My all time favorite. I'm going to my first wedding this weekend and might have some good stories...can't wait. Luv u girl❤
me too! i can't believe people really act like this. good luck and please share if you do! lol, one of my son's called me one day to tell me about his first karen on the job so i can appreciate your excitement for your first wedding. have fun!
With regards to the 17 year old young man, I find it to be quite ironically funny that he’s starting off on a great future, while the “auntie” will just slowly move forward with people thinking that her behavior was so stinking negative. LOL!!! That’s some great Karma there!!! Good luck kiddo!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼😊
I'm an interior designer and tbh I tell a lot of the other workers in my store that if a customer is rude to them in their department, don't send them my way. They will fight tooth and nail for discounts and cut corners- that likely ends up with us losing money... plus they've almost always got bad money
I think that the bride that complained about the glasses ON the day of her wedding could have gotten away with her complaining if she had asked months prior if the glasses girl could wear contacts instead on the day of her wedding. Which in truth is really sad because she seemed like a total nightmare and that this wasn’t the only incident
Even if informed early why would someone go through the inconvenience of using contact lenses ( idk how comfortable contacts are never used them but I know few ppl who prefer glasses as contacts cause them dryness). This bride is just purely entitled and thought she could have her way just cause it was her wedding.
I have a friend who wanted to wear contacts on her wedding day. She finds them to be uncomfortable and usually wears glasses instead. She tried to get the contacts in, her mother tried to get the contacts, in her brother tried to get the contacts in. She got married (looking beautiful) wearing glasses.
Or if she usually is a really nice person and was just being insane because of the wedding. I don't think they would have all left in that case, but like the story said, that was the straw.
For the anti homophobes planner, I'd definitely include a clause with specifics for contract termination from then on. I get that she didn't feel like keeping the money, but she had already done quite some work, and deserved to be compensated for that. So a clause about termination should definitely be added to protect herself in the future. Plus, she should totally warn her photographers, it's just common courtesy when they are being so blatantly discriminated like that.
I was confused that she didn't have some sort of retainer fee that she could keep in case of a situation like this, when things don't work out. Most photographers do that to cover their losses if something like this happens. If the full payment was up front, you'd partially refund and keep the retainer fee.
Kudos to the Mom being protective of her son! He put a lot of time and effort into the dress and could have gotten tons of exposure for his pay as well as doing something nice for his aunt only to be snubbed and disinvited to the wedding. The aunt got exactly what she deserved and I hope that the young man gets to continue doing what he loves doing with the hopes that this bad experience didn't crush his aspirations in dress designing.
I really needed this video today. My entitled husband of 8 years is kicking me out, so today is moving day for me. Once I get my finances in order, I'll definitely be ordering some petty merch. Thanks for all you do Charlotte, I really needed to laugh today.💜
*hugs* Some hurdles are blessings in disguise, best of luck Hun on Your asshole free way of life! (Don't forget to leave shrimp in curtain rods unless You'll fight for the house)
I have a feeling that had those bridesmaids went back to the venue when Bridezilla "apologized", immediately after it was all over, Bridezilla would have scolded them all like children about ruining her special day and either ended the friendship herself or insis on them making it up to her somehow.
There is another update on the wedding dress ;) "New Update March 7th Sorry for the delay, but it's been a busy week. Many family members skipped my sister's wedding and decided to have a party at a cousin's house instead of attending the wedding. My sister is obviously very upset and has cut us all off her social media. She got another dress to get married, but everyone thought it was cheap compared to what she was going to wear. And I would also like to inform you that someone already bought the dress that my son made, it was for a good price and that will help him cover his college costs." Dress is sold for arround 22-25k (not sure what currency) from OP comments
Do you happen to have a picture of the dress? I would love to see it so much. I’m glad he got a good price for the dress and l, the lady just seemed so ungrateful for what this 17 year old young man did for her.
That old saying "all money ain't good money" has never been more true. She was absolutely right to return that woman's money, and I truly believe that her business is probably booming because of her post blowing up. Even if it's not business, that's the type of situation that keeps the universe rewarding you in all kinda ways (i.e. better health, more happiness and lots of love and positive points). Living a successful and happy life is going to be her amazing karma and I'm all for it. I have a catering business and I firmly believe in minding my business and feeding people however, sometimes a potential (or current) client can show their true colors or nasty enough personality that has made me decline working with/for them. I have never been rolling in the dough and definitely have NEVER had a moment where turning down money was my preference but I have declined at least 6 contracts (in 20+ years) due to the presence of pure evil (sarcasm they were just 💩 people with 💩 values/views/personalities respectively). I am sending the 1st girl all the positive vibes and energy the universe can hand her. As diamond said in that great masterpiece of cinema "Make that money don't let the money make you". If you don't know this line then I just truly told my age 😂😂 as if the 20+years catering didn't already say I'm old 😂😂 ☮️&💜 To All
Chances are, with the last post, the sister has always acted like she's better. I have almost completely cut ties with my own sister due to her behavior. I could write a short novel on the 💩 my sister has pulled since I was born, and continues to pull. They say that blood is thicker than water, but if that blood contains deadly toxins, I'm sticking with water.
The final update on the last story is that the dress was sold to someone else and the teenager who made it is using the money when he goes to college. Also, Aunt Bridezilla ended up with a last-minute off-the-rack dress that she had to pay for and that didn't look as good. So, karma won.
Thank you! 💜☺✌
PIN THIS PLEASE
Woot woot!!! I love this update. Thank you!!!
Oooooo I love this update. It ended as I wished it would 😁
I think it's disgusting that she didn't invite her 17 year old brothers son though!
That gave me shivers. So happy for him.
I’m so proud of him. Good for them. I just love this for them so much.
Looks like he has a future in wedding dress making if he wants it. Obviously we don’t know how many hours he put into it but seems like he could make a decent living off of it. Selling what is essentially a piece of art for 18-24k when you are 17 is pretty impressive.
That's awesome! Thanks for updating here. 💛
That's a lot of money, and the boy deserves every penny. Hope he goes on to be a well-known wedding gown designer.
The 17 year old who can make wedding dresses deserves so much better. Dad is amazing.
Agreed
Big time and I do believe it was out of homophobia from Christian uncle to be's doing.
Agreed 💯%
His future success will definitely be there. She could have had an early piece from an up and coming designer. That dad is definitely an all-star.
That dad gets a 🏆 from me.
@@TheBaumcmexactly. That’s intellectual property.
Oh yeah. Justice served.😊
I love that the bride who bought it paid extra because a kid made it! She deserves that dress so much more!
i’m very glad she didn’t get the dress. and that he earned good money for that dress. he was probably imagining attending the wedding and seeing his design & how happy his aunt was while working so hard on it. he’s seventeen, that’s nearly an adult. to not make an exception for him is a very rude & dumb move. he made ur wedding dress, & is ur family.
I watched this same story allready on this channel few months ago. Or it is published as someone others own story again.
Didn't think about that. That's another theory to think about.
Lol you are probably 💯 correct.
Then again, the bride can choose to reveal the creator of the dress another day. Just saying.
Yes,my thoughts exactly.
If someone doesn’t strip at the wedding the reception isn’t good enough. Yes, someone stripped at my wedding (male).
I'm so impressed by the 17 yr old making the wedding dress. A true talent. His aunt doesn't deserve it.
Gowns are extremely hard to create!
💯 agree
Exactly and when posting photos I'd make sure to include him and hype up his amazing work on it. Get a professional photo of it for his portfolio.
I would have said to everyone who made this dress and would have told everyone to make photos and post her on sm.
I would make my nephew get some business cards made up, make sure he put pockets in my dress, and hella fill those pockets with his business cards. "OH, you like my dress? Here's the maker's business card."
@@rayannejacobs8700 AND I would give him some money (part of the price I didn't pay for the dress) to fund him if he wants to open a business. ^^
This ! And if by mistake something falls on her... Well, she should have seen it coming
@@HeyTitouvideos I see what you did there 😏
just trip with red wine over the bride
This is the petty I come here for 😂
LMAO!!! 😂😂
Well, usually the actual wedding doesn't have alcohol. That's the reception. Makes no sense.
@@missylou725 Oh yeah, I didn't even think about that. Good point
I love how the girls supported the girl with the glasses . She has a great group of friends .
Bingo! That's exactly what I thought!
Yep I'm there 😡
More people need to be like you! What a cute idea!
Everyone needs a dog of honor, and if that dog is a service dog- even better!
pup of honour!!! thats so cute!
😂
Ditto. Obviously the bridesmaid didn’t have contacts or she probably would have worn them or offered to wear them
I'm the same, 10cm is as far as I can see, past that it's blur. I've been wearing glasses since I was 8.
Wish I could upvote this 1000 times ❤❤❤
I imagine that because they are a couple they make some really great photos.
There was a further update to the wedding dress debacle. He sold the dress to someone online (I believe) who absolutely loved it (too expensive for auntie but not too expensive for someone who really wanted it). AND the family that didn't go to the wedding had their own party the day of. Love that for both OP & his son.
This really warms my heart ❤
Right you can totally disagree with someone while still being a good friend
She was so amazing and accommodating for all of us
Charlotte there was another update to the last story, here it is
Update:
Sorry for the delay, but it's been a busy week.
Excellent! Your son and you and the opt-out family members are Wonderful!!! 🌈
@@jandavis1523 I'm not the person in this story, just someone who posted their update
@@victoriajolly247😂 lol It was kind of clear that you are not the op but i find It funny and cute the other comment
I’m guessing it’s homophobia - perhaps coming from the groom but definitely with her approval.
@Anduril919 not mutually exclusive reasons. Both.
If I had a nephew so talented as to be able to make a wedding dress at age 17, I'd be such a proud auntie I'd be showing him off at the wedding!
Right?! I love showing off my nieces talents!
Exactly this!
Heck, yeah! I'd give him multiple shout-outs and at least one spotlight during the reception. She could have been a promoter, but she chose to be a mere exploiter. Sorta the Colonel Tom Parker of wedding dress design. She got what she (and Parker) deserved.
Definitely
Yeah but she is a pure narcissist and it is all about her and her alone.
I honestly don't mind, I just hate squinting bc it's a reflex since I wanna see clearly.
Definitely done intentionally. Glad karma kicked her in the butt!
But gay men can be a bit much, like an annoying 13 year old girl that thinks is a Woman.
Amen to that!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽same here, lead with love always!
Disagreement isn’t hate. Your getting your definitions all mixed up.
The visual at 8:40 of the bridesmaids at Applebee's can only be called a masterpiece. Hats off to the video editor who pulled it off!
I couldn’t imagine my family treating my children this way. Absolutely not. No. Especially after such a labor of love.
Love the rich husband who was super chill and decorated the pig, the aunt behaved like royalty even though she wasn't yet rich, HE was and yet so humble 😂
I love how the dad is so good about his son's boundries! and is so good for his son! The kid must feel sooo loved!
Imagine wanting to get married in castle but not liking antique style?? And thinking a venue would buy all new furniture for her specifically 😂
@@eleanorcooke7136 that’s true but she’s wild for thinking the venue would one to buy all new furniture specifically for her wedding 😂🤦🏻♀️
@@WelcomeApathy Modern furniture doesn't belong in a castle. If you need convincing evidence we'll just show you the torture chamber.
And then they wonder why the get divorced, when they value things over relationships.
right? If I have attendants when I get married, I've invited them because I love them. Why would I want them to cover up what makes them them?
Id tell them to go get more tats 🤣
Kidding but seriously tattoos being a problem is stupid I mean if they were inappropriate I'd understand but just anyold tattoo nope
Like I don't have any tattoos myself but I'm planning on getting 10 really meaningful tattoos if anyone asked me to cover them I'd be pissed.
(If your wondering why do many. 4 of my pets 2 cats 2 dogs. Then my mum and dad then both my Nan's and pops.
If your interested for some reason in what I'm getting:
Animals
Dog:sandman (from rise of guardians on his chest he had a white patch that looked like him)
Dog:A paw print
Cat:A heart cause 2 of her spots look like hearts
Cat: socks cause he looks like he has little black and white socks
My parents
I'm getting a matching tattoo with my mum
Not sure for dad yet
My grand parents
Pop: Magpie (cause he loved Collingwood the football team)
Pop: a bulldog cause of a football team
Nan: swan cause of a football team
Nan: a Dolphin cause she just liked dolphins lmao the only grandparent that doesn't have a football themed one.
Yes
I initially wanted to say she deserved some form of pay but on a pragmatic and emotional level she squished any questions I had… Good for her 👏
That wedding planner is adorable and amazing! I love what she stands for and how she verbalizes it! Hugs and prayers for the very best for you.
The last story: He actually did sell the dress and got a lot of money for it, since it was a custom hand-made dress. If I remember, hardly anyone went to the wedding. And I believe that the young man is now going to school to be a designer.
Good for him! Hopefully he becomes the next big designer! And I love the fact that nearly nobody went lmao
@@TheOfficialDirtyDan Yeah, me too!
I am so grateful that he calculated the worth of it, without flinching or downplaying his own time - and he sold it to someone who was willing to pay what it was worth! I so hope he continues designing if that's what he wants, too.
I LOVE all the bridesmaids in the glasses story! It makes me so happy that they all had her back, and they all walked out on the evil bridezilla!
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how adorable Charlotte's fur-baby is??😭❤️
She's pet sitting. But he sure is a cutie!
Seriously. “Murphy and the Bridezilla” needs to be a thing. Murphy deserves all the walkies and snackies! 💌
That's her soon to be Step-Furbaby 😊
oh the last story made me so mad, the sheer audacity to accept the services of a minor and yet he can't go to the wedding bc he's a minor?? Fuck that, selling it is the best option indeed. Props to the dad for sticking up to his kiddo and I wish this talented person the best with his passion for fashion
no... because he's gay. It's actually much worse and complete bigotry
Especially since the kid was the only one in the family excluded. This was intentional.
Awesome day
As a gay guy, I just want to say a massive thank you to the first wedding planner. Such a wonderful young lady.
I’m thinking the bride would have a difficult time proving the planner was an anti Christian who was being discriminatory towards the bride when the planner did more than she really had to for the bride.
right ???? it feels so good to see allies actually backing us up instead of just SAYING they’re allies 🥰
As a fellow gay human, I second this.
Go girl! That's what I call being a decent human being!
The planner was a whiney bitch.
Same! Those are the things I have been taught as a Christian and I hate seeing some Christians paint us all in a bad light.
I am not a Christian. What does the Bible say about marriage and/or homosexuality?
The last story had my blood boiling but the first comment saying OP’s son should go to the wedding wearing the dress was the best ever! I got a tad too excited and yelled YES and accidentally scared my dog. I agree with OP that he was right to stand up for their son.
The last story, Kudos to the Dad for standing behind his son. I just know the Son is going to go on and do great things!!!!!

He didn't stand up to his son! He stood up FOR his son. He stood up TO his sister!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Or she keeps bumping into the groom ... gently ... and he doesn't seem to mind.
I wouldn't be surprised if blamed the poor girl for just being so clumsy. She's that bad of a person.
She's very pretty too.
She did way more than that lady deserves
Agreed, She seems like a very nice woman and is definitely a very pretty girl.
She definitely did a lot more than she deserved. I loved her reference to karma because I am a big believer in karma.
I don't know how soon he'll be going to college but it should gain plenty of interest when put into a savings account.
Finally. A youtuber who talks to their dog like everyone should.
Lovely video as usual Charlotte, these always cheer me up

Massive kudos to the dad and his obviously talented son! And charlotte I can’t even say how happy I would be if he ended up making your dress when it’s time. Talk about a beautiful full circle!
For the photographer who refunded that bridezilla’s money, I know people like to be “petty” and get back at people, but honestly there is power in taking the high road. You can set boundaries while also showing others a better way to be without giving them any kind of negative ammo against you. Props to her for truly being the better person:)
One Hundred Likes for the High Road.
Exactly.
Absolutely
Very well said. Thank you.
Some people are just that homophobic unfortunately
"Wait, are you discriminating against my discrimination?" That one's my favorite. Someone should put that on a t-shirt.

Even then, this isn't something you do to your friend! People really lack morals and tact nowadays 😒
She probably was dumb enough to just assume she would where contacts
Or if she usually is a really nice person and was just being insane because of the wedding. I don't think they would have all left in that case, but like the story said, that was the straw.
Last story: dad goals!!!! Huge respect for him and I hope his son gets a good chance and becomes a icon that he is
DOPAMINE AND SEROTONIN LEVEL IS OVER 9000!!!
I LOVE YOU CHARLOTTE!!! Thank you for being our petty potato sass queen ❤🎉
MY DOGS EARS WHEN YOU WENT ON ABOUT SNACKIES AND WALKIES! I had to go to the kitchen and give them snacks 😅
Great points. She should be compensated for her time spent while dealing with the bigot. And definitely let the photographers know what happened.
I hope the other photographers don’t have to go through with what she did. I think you have good ideas in your post also😊
I was confused that she didn't have some sort of retainer fee that she could keep in case of a situation like this, when things don't work out. Most photographers do that to cover their losses if something like this happens. If the full payment was up front, you'd partially refund and keep the retainer fee.
I agree, but since she's a virtual planner, idk how contracts can stick if one client is from another state or country because of different laws.
Well, she didn't know about client's values, so it's not her fault. Lesson learned for the next time. I also understand her reason for reimbursement.
I urge to watch Charlotte everyday, thanks for being the fun in my life. Sometimes I feel like we are besties!!
"They're not gonna do the gay things"😂 Love you, Charlotte ❤
Kudos to the Mom being protective of her son! He put a lot of time and effort into the dress and could have gotten tons of exposure for his pay as well as doing something nice for his aunt only to be snubbed and disinvited to the wedding. The aunt got exactly what she deserved and I hope that the young man gets to continue doing what he loves doing with the hopes that this bad experience didn't crush his aspirations in dress designing.
One thing I love about Charlotte's videos is her putting her face/ face part on every picture (even her dog). It's funny to see end the results 😂😂😂
Good luck ❤
@@margodphd thank you so much! Great idea with the shrimp lol!
@@veefrain6232 thank you!💜
He’s kicking YOU out???
He’s not a real man
I have a feeling that had those bridesmaids went back to the venue when Bridezilla "apologized", immediately after it was all over, Bridezilla would have scolded them all like children about ruining her special day and either ended the friendship herself or insis on them making it up to her somehow.
There is another update on the wedding dress ;)
"New Update March 7th
Sorry for the delay, but it's been a busy week. Many family members skipped my sister's wedding and decided to have a party at a cousin's house instead of attending the wedding. My sister is obviously very upset and has cut us all off her social media. She got another dress to get married, but everyone thought it was cheap compared to what she was going to wear.
And I would also like to inform you that someone already bought the dress that my son made, it was for a good price and that will help him cover his college costs."
Dress is sold for arround 22-25k (not sure what currency) from OP comments
Where is this from? I checked the original post and it doesn't have any more updates...
Do you happen to have a picture of the dress? I would love to see it so much. I’m glad he got a good price for the dress and l, the lady just seemed so ungrateful for what this 17 year old young man did for her.
@@CatinaLeon Under the original post in the comments ;)
13:55 dude I would invite the kid and shout him out at the wedding, like, “look at what this kid made omg”
If you don't know this line then I just truly told my age 😂😂 as if the 20+years catering didn't already say I'm old 😂😂
☮️&💜 To All
👍🏾
We always used this term referring to dominoes and card games but it definitely applies to life/business decisions
The 1891 didn't have anything to do with your age did it? Lol JUST KIDDING!!! Who cares about age anymore?
@@cjofloorish 🤣🤣 no the 1891 didn't 🤣
That was a good one. You get a cookie 🍪
That wedding planner she is my fave girl. I totally learn how not to be petty you’re awesome😊
