BetterHelp is fucked and not at all akin to real therapy at all. Their ToS doesn't even guarantee that the "therapists," they use are licensed. It's just a way for silicon valley tech bros to profit off of the mental health crisis this world is facing. I know you guys can do better than this

Only plant I have kept alive for more than one season. Cousin gifted a ginormous specimen...we called it Frankenlily...had to put it on a wheeled base to move it. I'd go away for a few days and return to a 'dead green octopus'. Some water would perk it back up to its waist high glory in a few days. It survived for about 7 years...never met its equal!👍🌞

I love resurrection ferns! I live in New Orleans and there's so many of them coating the branches of the live oak trees that shade our avenues. It's magical to see them go from brown to green after the rain, it makes the city look so lush.

There's one resurrection plant in southern Africa called (mufandichimuka) in local language of Zimbabwe. It grows between the rocks in the mountains. In rain season it is so lush and dies in long hot summers of southern Africa. It is used treating different ailments

There is a local oak tree that many people in our town visit, as it sits over a war memorial. I always ask people looking at it if they know what the ferns growing in a cluster at its trunk split are, and no one out of over 100 have guessed it right. I feel like I'm the only one who knows its a resurrection fern.

There are two kinds of ferns that do this here (dalmatia coast, croatia). You'd call it dead during the summer, all shrively and dry. But if it finds a damp place or the winter rains come, they spring right back up.

I anticipate you should be able to get good results by using conventional bryophyte propagation methods?

I found a mention of a succulent that uses a structure similar to a fiber-optic cable to conduct sunlight from the surface down to photosynthetic cells buried deeper in sand, thus reducing its above-soil profile. I'd like to know more about the cellular structures involved. Also, the name of the plant! I was thinking Martian fields might be a good place for them to grow.

This plant with the species nathalie and serbica, is found in Balkan peninsula, Europe ( Kosovo, North Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Serbia) and is homoiochlorophyllous, which means that has the ablitiy to mantain their chlorophyll during the dessication period.
