@@codemandew5627 it is totally fine to release fish with a hook still in its mouth. In Florida, you are required to cut the line as close to the hook as possible for a sawfish. The hook will rust out. Also, it will not prevent the fish from eating. There are some people with piercings on the corner of their mouths, and they can eat.

I’ve fished my whole life and since the invention of the internet and TH-cam, I’ve watched a LOT of fishing videos. This is now my favorite fishing video. Um, this dude was in a kayak in the ocean fighting a marlin! I mean, come on. I’m not usually a fan of videos longer than a few minutes, but this is such an amazing event to have caught on camera, the length is worth it. Some of the shots of that beast jumping were just off the charts. The boyish enthusiasm of the whole group was real and entertaining. The danger of the trip back to safety added a valuable reminder to everyone to be prepared before you go out on a boat. Thanks to all who participated and contributed to this all-time great fishing video.

If you guys would have ran out fuel and light you would have been in trouble but it all worked out to be an adventure of a lifetime that one day not in a kayak lol I have to do! I love sea fishing, but I live in KY so we only get to the coasts every year or two. My biggest catch was a 12ft hammer head of the coast of Florida. That's one of the most memorable videos I have ever seen. Simply WOW! Came by your channel while searching for ways to gut a redfish. I am gonna try the Aunt's method you show. Had to check out the rest of your channel and saw the Marlin vid. Amazing footage!!!! Adam's heart must of been beating outta his chest with excitement. Glad all involved came out safe and the Marlin lived to see another day.
