The Shooting Show - Decoying over spring rape, stalking fallow PLUS rabbiting with an air rifle

This week on The Shooting Show we join Geoff Garrod for crop protection, as he aims to keep the spring rape clear of marauding pigeons. With conditions in his favour, Geoff sets up his decoys in the hope of building a decent bag.
Then Chris Parkin meets with Eddie Hunter to assist with a fallow cull. Over the course of 24 hours, the pair attempt to shoot from a high seat as well as stalking into the beasts.
Lastly, Mark Ripley is out on a rabbiting mission. Armed with the Brocock Delta Wolf and Pulsar Merger binoculars, Mark has the perfect setup to make some long range precision shots and reduce rabbit numbers.

I am getting a new black lab the end of may and I did not know what to call him but thanks to Geoff Garrod he has a black lab called George so this is what I shall call mine thank him very much , I have been a supporter of the show ever since it started I have also been a member of the BASC for 25 years.

longest shot with my aa s410 .177 was 55 yards. i thought that was good. nice shooting mark 👍

Shot placement on the fallow was a bit odd. Couldn't see the best on it.

Great shooting Mark, It takes a lot more skill when shooting a sub 12 at those ranges and you have to know your kit and get the ranges right. Get it wrong by 2 or 3 meters and you have missed.

I don't see why you would dial in 8 clicks for a 240 meter body shot?. Assuming your zeroed at 100 (which is sensible) the bullet drop would hardly be anything at that range.
