A TH-camr named John Reynolds put that same drivetrain in a Corvair, so It's now a mid engine.

I put a tuned port from a camaro into a 83 chev 4x4 once...those t tops leaked right from the factory, lots of them were replaced while under warranty...

My friend puts 6.2 LS engines in the Grand Prix's ,he made an adapter the weak point is the trans but he has come up with solutions , just takes more money .

Pretty sure those 3.8 v6s only had 250hp. The supercharged version I think was at 280hp. They are different and the rear wheel drive version was completely different. Just a heads up when searching for parts. Going to be an interesting project for sure
