I've got two channels--one for anime that I started in April and one for books I just started a few days ago. What I've found is that if I'm talking about shows, I watch them more consistently and if I'm talking about books I read more consistently.

so it’s my sign huh okay interesting thing about me english isn’t my first language so idk what audience i should work towards 😭 i mostly read books in english, and from time to time they’re not translated to my native language for different reasons. but i also read books from authors who write in my language. i feel disconnected from both communities 😭 yeah.. idk what to do about that. i wanna be more present on the english speaking side of the internet but i don’t really belong there and bc i still live in my country i don’t have opportunities that english speaking creators have. it’s a whole mess 😭😭
I started my booktube channel 5 months ago and I mainly just did it because at the moment I am a stay at home mom. I wanted to talk to someone about the books that I am reading. I started reading middle grade books for my daughter that is seven years old so I could talk to her about books that she might be read to at school. I include both my 7 year old and almost 2 year old with doing my tbr. I use candyland with my daughter and at the moment for choosing my tbr I am introducing colors to my son to help choose when he gets an opportunity. So far it has been fun experience. I think the challenging part is learning how to make thumbnails and being entertaining to watch. Thanks for doing this video.
