    I'd just like to say how glad I am to have come across your site. Your energy is boundless and the love for your horses is there for all to see. I used to love riding, however I'm now an old lady (57), and am now dependent on a wheelchair plus am registered partially sighted. I love how up close you get with the camera, Qantas's teeth are worthy of comment alone. My hubby can't believe how far and fast the endurance rides are, amazing dedication of you, Dan and all your family xxxx

    i have to answer your self doubt in the dooblydoo and say No, I dont think its you or your techniques, your husbandry or your methods.
    Something I've been marvelling at for a while might be another perspective - Tissy is just such a star. You've talked about your track record with her, and she's an absolute marvel given what she's done and for how long, she seems like a true once in a lifetime horse, and she just happened to be your first

      Tissy is definitely a horse of a lifetime ❤️ but most of all she is super tough and had excellent training grounds. I don't think any horse will energy be as consistent as her but I definitely think a horse can have that one race that's better than she could do 🤞x

    Oh bless Quantas, he didn’t want to go back in his stall but he did it anyway - what a good boy! I hope he feels better soon and he can handle the box rest for as long as possible! I hope it isn’t too disappointing that you’re missing the rest of the season, he was doing so well! Obvs I know all you’ll want is the best for him but still, I can imagine it being upsetting! Speedy recovery Q 🤞🏻❤️

    Fingers crossed that this is the last thing that goes wrong for you, you always put your horses first, they're always in beautiful condition, and how you get them fit is commendable. Not your fault, things happen which are just out of our control. Hope this is the last set back for you, you have beautiful horses who are owned by a thoughtful, caring knowledgeable person, don't beat yourself up about it 💞

    Oh no, I missed this one! I hope he's healing up well! He's lucky to have such a knowledgeable and caring owner. Hopefully he's not tearing the stables down! Would you be able to do an in depth video on his diet? I haven't caught up yet on your vlogs, so you might have already, but being in America, I'm not familiar with the feed names, and I have my first endurance prospect coming home next month.

    I’m surprised Quantas doesn’t touch any of the rugs or supplies around the walls of the stall. My horse would have thrown everything on the floor!

      All mine are surprisingly good at leaving everything be 🤞 it's handy because there isn't much storage on the yard x

    I am sitting here dumbfounded on how he would've pulled a bicep muscle. You only here of that happening in humans. You have to admit, Qantas is a special boy. Speedy recovery! 😀

    Horses fall in the paddock when it's wet. My horse did the splits with her back legs playing in the paddock and it was 6 months of rehabilitation.
    We just have to remember horses have their own mind and plans for their life 😅

      @@bethendurance thankyou she is! Better then ever. Rehabilitation allowed me to rebuild her "foundation" and she is so strong now. Every cloud has a silver lining ☺️

    You should not be stretching his legs cold how u did u should get him moving first u could pull another muscle by not warming him up first.

    • @bethendurance
      @bethendurance  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't worry that's why we do the passive movements first and we don't stretch through full range (I'm a physio 😜, he's in safe hands) but thank you for your concern x
