    Is it necessary to do all this can't I just replace it like a screen protector

    I wish people would do that kind of work here in the US. Here they only replace the whole screen and that costs a lot of money.

      In vietnam the labor cost are cheap labor, they will spend time to do that for you. Here in U.S the amount of time you spent to replace that glass is more than replace the whole LCD.

      @@OverCookedRice But the problem is that any cheap aftermarket display is pooooor, often proximity sensors are not working. They often result in lag, overheat, slower response and freezes. I have already changed the screen (I changed like 5-6 screens in my life and all of them were much worse than the genuines) , but now I'm removing the glass and I'm also thinking about giving it to the company which has this device after preparing everything for them.

    What kind adhesive did you use? To put screen replacement on phone

    It's easier to remove the glass with a hotgun properly setup...
