The abandoned branch line led to a Central Farmers fertilizer plant in Georgetown Canyon. They extracted phosphorus from ore taken from a mine and produced fertilizer. The facility operated from 1957 to 1964. The plant was demolished in 2001. I enjoy your videos. I grew up in the Georgetown, Idaho area.
Idaho looks very nice in your videos. Nature is so beautiful there. These small fluffy bushes along the track are cute. I assume this is a remote area, because we doesn't see life at all. Just a simple country road and nothing else. I've never been in the US, so I really enjoy the different sights and things in your uploads. Thanks a lot for the ride, this was great. Keep up the awesome job Dan.
Thank you, Dan, for this wonderful video taking us soaring along the Bear River along the Union Pacific's Pocatello, Subdivision in Idaho.I enjoyed the passing scenery. I agree that what appears a12:14 looks like an abandoned branch line. (Posted on 1 Januari 2025 at 1 .)
Just now watching the video, and if you look at the power pole next to the trace at 0:26, you'll see a silver junction box....I'm highly assuming there was a semaphore signal there next to the pole at one point. Maybe wrong, but still...quite interesting
Great flying and very nice shots.
thanks Dan happy new year

2025❤新年快樂🎉🎉🎉❤身體健康❤❤❤❤❤
You should do some recordings of abandoned rails. I would love to see what the old Pengra line looks like with Lookout Point being as low as it is.

How do operators not get mesmerized by the tracks ?
Dan, are you using a sub 250 gm drone? How does the UP feel about you skimming their rails and buzzing their trains?
Dan… how dang far did ya fly out to from your controller….?
