I love these!!! Your company should offer KITS with all the materials to make it easier for us to purchase(in different color varieties, of course!) These ottomans are beautiful!
I had two 😳😳😳 reactions while watching this. The first was "That zipper will scratch wood floors!" (which I don't think will happen, but will test out before using on wood floors), and the second was "What a boss, spraying adhesive inside!?" Great video, I can't wait to make some!
Great tutorial. I would add a few steps by getting a pre cut wood circle and small feet to make a base to elevate it from the floor. Either permanently attach the ottoman to the wood base or add Velcro to the bottom to detach when needed. I think I’ll make one with some leather I have.
Hey, thanks for the suggestion! Adding a base and elevating the ottoman from the floor is a smart idea. It'll definitely give it a more polished look. Can't wait to see your leather ottoman creation, it sounds awesome!
I thought you guys might get a kick out of this information. I'm taking a sewing class and when ever I do a project my teacher asks me if I've ever done this before? I tell her no but I cheat. Because I get my projects done before anyone else does. She wanted to know how I cheated and I tell her that I watch your classes. She gets a kick out of it. She told me that she wants a walking foot sewing machine and I told her all about you guys. She said she looked you guys up and she's very interested. She wanted to know how I knew about Sailrite. I told her that one day I will be getting one of your machines because I will be getting a used sailboat and I will be doing all of the fixing up on the boat.
@SailriteWorkbench you are welcome. One day soon I will be buying one of your sewing machines and putting it to good use. And thank you for your videos.
@SailriteWorkbench probably a dodger, Bimini top, cushion covers and what ever needs to be redone. Than I will most likely be doing it for other people. Gotta buy beer somehow!
