WOW! Horst, this is very impressive. The "skin" detail must have been a labour of love for sure, so much work to make it look so convincing. The detail on the model is amazing. The 'giant' glove on the left engine during the close-up shots looks is a reminder of the fact it's a model. Amazing.

There are still some original Ju-52 flying here in Germany and Switzerland.
After the facial expressions of the RC-pilot Herr Hannes see relief after the successful landing .... although it seems everything is smooth and easy, with such large models...you never know ... so congrats!!!
Note: All passengers are given a very laudatory statements on the Lufthansa famous three engines airliner....
This is next level scale modelling, incredible. What a landing! Perfectly captured for all time by our friend Horst. Awesome job! A big thumbs up from a huge fan in Canada!

Amazing model and airplane, one of my favorits...The main engine was turned off by the pilot or it went off by it self? I watched other video where it, unfortunately crasched due to a twice engine fail at landing...

Love watching your films. But I notice that your models can all take off in a very short distance. They are scale models, but they must be far more powerful for their scale than the real things?

Das ist das detailgetreuste Modell einer Ju 52
Bei dem Crash war ich nicht vor Ort, aber ich denke, dass sie wieder aufgebaut wird. Allerdings ist der Besitzer schon im hohen Alter.

Was mir immer wieder auffällt, und jetzt bitte um Gotteswillen nicht falsch verstehen, ist die übermotorisierung der Modelle. Da fehlt ein bisschen die Behäbigkeit des Originals. Aber trotzdem verdammt großes Kino.
_Hallo Martin. Mit Kritik kann ich gut leben. Besser so, als kommentarlos einen Daumen nach unten ;)_
Das mit der Übermotorisierung stimmt nur teilweise. O.K. bei dieser Ju hätten 150cc vermutlich auch gereicht. Durch den starken Wind hat der Pilot lieber eine flottere Gangart gewählt um nicht in Schwierigkeiten zu kommen.
Habe auch schon Großmodelle gesehen, welche Mühe hatten sich in der Luft zu halten.
Lieber Halbgas mit ein paar PS als Reserve, als untermotorisiert ständig mit Vollgas.
Bei vielen Scale Modellen denke ich mir oft das schwächere Motoren mehr wären, bzw die vorhandenen nicht voll Ausfahren. Das war jetzt keine Kritik, sondern das fällt eben bei so großen und perfekten Modellen richtig auf. Da gibt es auch das Video von den beiden B17 die zusammen fliegen. Schaut eben aus wie ein nervöses Sportflugzeug. Was nichts daran ändert das jeder gerne diese Monster haben würde ;)
Übrigens gabs natürlich einen Daumen nach oben

Ju-52-3m, the propellers ONLY HAVE TWO BLADES.!!!!!!
Besides that, fantastic.!!!
And that model, seems to fly MUCH FASTER than the original, slow, lumbering "Tante ju".!!!
The Lufthansa`s JU-52 ( D-AQUI) has Pratt & Whitney engines with Tri-blade props.

finally a good landing
I thought all JU 52's had two bladed props. There must surely be a logical answer to this apparent mistake. Has the real Tante Ju got three bladed props because the engines demand it? If so they must be more powerful than those installed in the Harvard trainer which still has a two bladed prop.

Bezüglich der Propeller muss ich widersprechen. Es gibt die Tante Ju mit 2 und 3 Blatt Propeller.
