The Rivian R1S Changed My Views on Electric Vehicles.

- Today and thanks to BMW of South Miami, I was finally able to get my hands on a Rivian R1S!
The model shown here was the R1S Adventure trim. It has the Quad-Motor setup with the Large Battery Pack and it makes 835 HP and 908 lb-ft of torque. The overall output of kWh is 135 kWh.

On Rivian’s website it states 835 HP and 908 Lb-ft of Torque. I know in the video it sounds like I said 135 but it’s 835.
People always forget that there is storage under the back seats!

A touring vehicle without a reliable charging network. So unless you ONLY stay at home and can charge at home. Then this vehicle sucks
Starting this Month, Rivian will be able to Charge at Tesla Superchargers across the country. The superchargers are going to be great and are reliable.
I’m writing this from Palm Desert on my trip from Minnesota. On my way to Yosemite with the R1S and a mountain bike in tow. Not sure where you’re getting your “stay at home”comment. Not sure if you comment a lot on stuff you don’t understand or just do that for EVs?
