We run 30Ks in Northern CA..last one obsolete for CA smog..even though it didn't produce particulates. Replacement rig is a one year old 40K. Started drilling at 26 years old in 1972 on 71 Star cable tools. Also ran a couple of TKT Portadrills and a TG. Company just past the 100 year mark last year😊
Yes this is slow ..in this particular video.. But !!! with a good efficient Driller you can put some steel in the ground very efficiently and safley Without Beating up your body quickly ... and running off the Help . This is what some of us drillers that use old old rigs live for 💪🙏
Wow. That's got to be a by the hour job. We could trip out the whole rod box full in 11 minutes. With an old Portadrill TLS. How are they ever going to make enough to pay for this rig?

It would be cool if they had a bit wieght gauge and couple other things longyear core rigs have. Simplify controls. To much goin on
