Love 2 stroke... Im on 85cc at the moment, and wanting to move up cuz im physically getting too big for the 85, but not sure about skill level for the 125 (only been riding 5 months)
This is what I want to get next. I have a KX 85 and have had it for a couple years but really want the 125. I can wait to get a 125 and race my cousins 400 4 stroke. We rode today and he could defiantly beat me in top speed but in acceleration he had his 400 yamaha rippin to keep up with me
@konrad12xpl No Mate i have a dt dont take them off road or on a track there really front end heavy and the tanks quite big so you'll be loosing front end quite alot because you cant sit fowards on birms so i would get a yz if i was you thats why im watching this video because im thinking bout getting a yzf 250 but my mate said there very high maintenance so im gunna go for the yz 125 :)
couldn't agree more. 2 strokes are meant to be riddin hard like that. This video is the true definition on how to ride a 2 stroke. If your a puss and want to ride your bike easy, then go out and buy yourself a 4 stroke, that's what they are for.

Im not exactly sure of my ratio. I run SPECTRO PLATINUM SX2 I mix 12.5 ounces per 5 gal. of 92 pump gas. I've never had a problem with it. Both me and my friend (he has 97 yz125) run it at this ratio and it's been perfect. I'm running regular BR9ES plugs. I only foul plugs when I ride VERY easy, like don't get out of 1st.

@happywombatproducts Yamaha already has made the 2011 yz 125 and yz 250 and KTM still makes the 125, 150, 250 2 strokes

@crazysteve670 accuatly they still do make 125's im pretty sure but they dont send them to the us because of the 2 stroke laws

you dont have to be any age to own one i had one when i was 13, you have to be at least 13 or 14 to race depending on your club rules
