Which is funny because Kanan's dub VA, Michelle Rojas, is one of the co-directors for Superstar S1. I bet she let it slide because that would (technically) mean giving Kanan more screentime, probably to make up for Kanan's lack of screentime in Sunshine.

I actually like the dub. It's surprising that LL Superstar already has a dub, so I'll check it out.
I’m actually surprised it took so long. It was a longer wait than Sunshine or Nijigaku. Hopefully they simuldub season 2, like they did with Nijigaku season 2.

Plus, the Nijigasaki dub was directed by Megan Shipman, who voiced Hanamaru in Sunshine.
The other co-director is Michelle Rojas, who previously voiced Kanan Matsuura. So now we have Maki (Caitlin Glass), Hanamaru (Megan Shipman), Shizuku (Jill Harris) and Kanan as ADR Directors, spanning 3 different dubs.

I thought this was an insult to the dub since ive watched Sunshine in dub and loved it so im glad that the Superstar dub is actually good???
I did not expect to hear Kristen McGuire rapping, but I love it.
The dub is incredible as always. Love Live en casting hits the nail perfectly once again! My only qualm I'd say is that one moment in episode 9 where Keke tells everyone they're too naive, which in my opinion shouldn't have been translated to English and kept in Chinese, since they went out of their way in episode 1 to mention that Keke tends to speak in her mother tongue when feeling such intense emotions. And the first instance of us hearing gusokumoshi, which was in Japanese but later turned to English, I guess.
Other than that, everyone did amazing and Ren and Kanon's voices were definitely such highlights for me!
Hmm so the previous English dubber of Shizuku is directing this…. And Shizuku was the fang toothed R3BIRTH girl right? So I gotta say that the humor gets better and better

@@kamentrainerhorn2073 There was a trailer for that show, which was supposed to be an April Fools joke, but the writers decide to make it official. Yes, there is going to be a Yohane spinoff coming in 2023, but I’ll have to check for the upcoming anime name somewhere.
EDIT: I found the title of the spinoff. It's called "Genjitsu no Yohane: Sunshine in the Mirror".
