Rare yes but in Sunshine, it would sometimes show Chika’s dad (but would not show his face for some reason) he was there I believe on her first performance, when they were a group of three, and I think her second performance at Love Live (probably first but I forget, and I believe her final performance as well. I could be wrong about the timeframes but idk. Also Mari’s dad is briefly show as well but just once
There's actually a couple of male background characters seen throughout the Love live universe, of course the amount of female characters overtake that but there's still a lot of males to see.
