It doesn't need repairing but for the purposes of making sure I eliminate all problems and a general How To vid I thought some of you fellow RB, CA and VG owners will benefit from these vids.
I admire you open it up to actually find out what is going on, but are you sure that is 'corroded' and not burnt from a little too much juice? Do you have the correct fuses in places? I know, its been 7 years, just curious. Either way, neat video. If I find someone selling a junk MAF I may just fix it and sell it now, lol.

They don't usually burn out. The solder joints just get brittle with age and break apart. A simple continuity test confirms it. 👍
good video mate, have you heard of 10A engine control fuses blowing due to airflow sensor issues??
Don Wall Not ever. Or personally, having owned a few DET engines. Do you have a different one wired in?
