Subnautica Ambience: Deep Grand Reef

- Ambient sounds from the Deep Grand Reef biome in Subnautica. One hour of a mellow blue color pallet, bubbles and plenty of schools of fish. This is also where the Degasi survivors made their last base before they disappeared in the deep.
It would have been funny if you threw in a random shriek from the Ghost Leviathan to catch people off guard
That jelly ray shriek at the start of the vid was enough to make me jump😂
Or maybe a crab squid click noise
The back of my mind suddenly went "Warning: Thirty seconds of oxygen remaining."
Why Marguerite thought this was a great place for a seabase, I'll never know
Just decided to pack up my safe shallows base into my Cyclops...I moved the the deep grand reef. Not too bad, I'm away from any crabsquids. Only bad thing is the warper that likes to hang around
@@ethankeenstar9238 I made a couple auxillary seabases to hide in just in case...but eventually I'll have to move out of the Kelp Zone.
@@ethankeenstar9238 It's been 10 months. Did you get scared by the ghost leviathan?
Well Paul wanted to stay on the surface for any chance that a rescue vessel would spot them. Bart wanted to set up a base in every biome so that he could categorize and research the flora and fauna, also hoping it would lead to a cure for the Kharaa Bacterium. Marguerite wanted to go deeper since she noticed the bread trail of Alien tech that only got deeper the more they discovered. Seems like Bart and Marguerite's goals were closely matched which would explain the seabases in some of the most hostile biomes.
@@alexanderpower2195 that thing def made me freak I played for like ever in the grand reef and never saw it until one day I missed the hole to the lost river and it heard my cyclops, made me do an instant reverse, decoy beacon, emergency speed, and shield, before it even got to me.
The Grand Reef is hauntingly beautiful. Probably one of my favorite biomes, at least looks wise
I am so glad you did this without any music. One of the most relaxing areas with the jellyrays :)
Yea it is relaxing, intell the ghost leviathan comes over, other than that I like the area too
But the deep grand reef is dangerous as it is home to many warpers and crabsquids
@@doratheexplorerspongeboblu1737 but they just wanna snuggle :)
43:00 warpers warping around :') but yeah i agree
Love the jelly ray screaming
Listening to this in the background of class, its amazing
nice chill warpers >w< hahaha
sometimes irl my chair clicks and i think it's them
Listening to this while working on some craft projects, and musing on ideas for a script for an underwater audio of my own...
It's nice to see that you still visit this channel now and then :)
@@FrostglowASMR There's a lot of good content here. Quite a lot, and well worth the listening time.
Lovely ambience thank you for sharing.
jellyrays warm my heart
Dem jellyray crys tho o_o
Nice! Glad you kept going with this. Any plans for some nice safe shallows ambiance?
It's coming up!
@@FrostglowASMR can you do the aurora's nose?
You think you'd ever be able to do one thats in the deep lilypad biome in below zero?
Warpers are so cool...shame they hate me now.
I love you
:">
I hate this place. Despise it. It gives me a chill up my spine that the Blood Kelp Zone doesn’t even give me.
Your probably only about relaxing ambience but could u do Aurora ambience next? (Subnautica)
I have looked into it and didn't really find a soundscape outside the Aurora that would work. Maybe I'll have a look inside.
where is crab squid
im afraid the crabsquids but now i have cyclops should i go here for the cuddlefish
Anyone else get a bit of stuttering in this area?
16:20 ohhh boe
Do the aurora
