I still think this is probably one the best models I have ever seen and this is after watching this video about 16 times since it first came out 3 years ago.
Thank you so much for the views! I really appreciate you repeatedly coming back for more! Makes all the making and video editing worth while. Many thanks, The Inner Nerd
Thank you for making these amazing videos! Watching how you assemble and paint your masterpieces has certainly taught me a LOT - and definitely made me a better modeler! Cheers!
Hey, thanks for the video. I'm coming back to the scale modeling after 15 years in model train business. I'm still in model trains but I found new arias especially in weathering works for both hobbies.
Stunning work. I'm very impressed and it inspires me in my own modelling. Though personally I'm not a fan of pre & post shading. Your work on the metal areas is stunning and I shall try to emulate it in my next build. Thank you so much for stunning builds
Great work, funny thing is though the weapon load you've depicted would stop the aircraft taking off from a carrier with more than half fuel. Lack of catapults and the short deck on the Admiral Kuznetzov stops the SU33s carrying decent ordnance or they won't get airborne.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING THE COLORS YOU USED!!! I have all but 3 of the Tamiya colors. I was going a bit crazy trying to find the right colors for a SU-27 and 33 and all I could find were people recommending to buy other paint brands, other colors, or that you had to mix the colors but not tell you how. I found one other video with the Su-33 Ammo MIG paint colors and even then they mixed those with others because they didn't look quite right. I don't want to keep buying more, just learning to mix my own colors. Your work is amazing. I do have to say I was on pins and needles and would even look away when you peeled the masking tape off cause I was half expecting paint to come off too! Overall your skill and obvious love for what you do shows. Really glad you also shared the tools and materials you used. Hope to see more of your work. Subscribing!! Put the list of paint colors underneath in case anyone is interested. Omitted some parts that were obvious like the arresttor hook. tires, etc. **Cockpit XF1 Flat Black XF23 Light Blue XF2 Flat White X14 Sky blue X7 Red **NAV Screen X-3 Royal Blue ***Ejector Seat 80% XF1 Flat Black 20% XF2 Flat White ***Belts XF57 Buff ***Pre-Shade Panel Lines XF1 Flat Black 18psi **Fuselage*** Camo Light Blue 70% XF23 Light Blue 30% XF1 Flat Black Medium Blue 60% X14 Sky Blue 40% XF18 Medium Blue Dark Blue 30% X3 Royal Blue 30% X14 Sky Blue 40% XF18 MediumBlue ***Underside Coat 70% XF23 Light Blue 30% XF18 Medium Blue ***Leading Edges X2 White ***Gun Panels XF56 Metallic Grey Post Shading with Heavily Thinned XF1 Flat Black ****Exhaust Nozzels Alclad ALC-113 Jet Exhaust X11 Chrome Silver Alclad ALC-110 Copper ***Stainless Steel Service Doors 80% X11 Chrome Silver 20% XF18 Medium Blue ALC-104 Pale Burnt Metal ALC-113 ***Wing Hinges XF56 Metallic Grey ***Tires XF1 Flat Black ***Undercarriage Doors Interior 95% XF7 Red 5% XF1 Flat Black
Haha yes this is quite a time consuming task if you want to replicate all of the subtle tones in the metal effect. The masking has to be the worst part but worth the outcome in my opinion. Thanks for watching :)
Ho una scatola dello stesso modello ma della Zvezda .....seguirò il tuo video per migliorare il mio in costruzione . Continua sempre così , sei un grande 👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌
The Inner Nerd I used to weather model railway locos and wagons as a hobby, I have an airbrush and all , I'm guessing you used the overspray and a pice of paper to make the dirt in the panel lines (looks amazing by the way) and do you use tamiya paints and I know from experience that they are smooth and require minimum diluting to airbrush with. Cheers Jack
The Inner Nerd please excuse me for that , I saw the thumbnail and skipped to the end to see the Finished result only then did I begin to watch the full video and write my comment.

INCREDIBLE job on the sea camo!! I love it !
It is not model you did, it is a jewel. I am fan.
Красота, выглядит так как будто настоящий су 33 уменьшили. На крупных планах модель от настоящего очень сложно отличить. Автор настоящий художник

Nice looking plane !!
Fantastic job !!
At the part of the video where you paint metal effects on the engines, I don´t know what to feel, it´s both inspiring and intimidating.
Haha yes this is quite a time consuming task if you want to replicate all of the subtle tones in the metal effect. The masking has to be the worst part but worth the outcome in my opinion. Thanks for watching :)

Snow8Blind Tamiys paints are great in my opinion. The weathering process of panel lines is shown in full in the video
