One pro tip I will share; If you're having trouble with a boss, Go to bed and try it tomorrow or after a nap. Your brain can only truly learn new info, like a boss's timing, when asleep. As such, it truly helps with everything.
I cant tell if some of the background music is from persona 5 or not 😭 amazing video, thank you for wanting to take your time with the dlc. I've always thought trying to rush through games removes a certain feeling/charm youd get from it otherwise.
Great video man. Im glad to have something to watch along with my play through. I do agree that the dark souls videos could have used some breathing room, but the play through still turned out amazing (I think it’s only second to your bloodborne playthrough) but I’m glad that you made it in time for shadow of the erdtree. My least favorite enemies are probably the one enemies from farum azula. I mean they have a great design, but are incredibly tough to deal with. Nice to see that you made it past the first boss, that one was hard for me as well! It took me 2 days, which in the grand scheme of things feels easy compared to the second boss that took me 4. Well I’m off to start the next video. Really enjoyed this one ◡̈
GG on Lion! Least fav enemy in base game are probably the teleporting slappy bois called Revenant, to be found e.g. in Elphael! They might be my least favourite enemy in any souls-like...
Just discovered ya channel and so far I'm hooked your funny af seem to be having genuine fun with this game not like the serious gatekeeper gameplay from most elden ring content creators definitely subscribed and looking forward to more black myth gameplay (that's how I found you) that video was AWESOME
I love my sword and board play style. Nerds will say I'm not playing the game right but in every MMO or RPG i always play a paladin. Its just my thing. Even in WoW, i mained either a prot or a holy pally and when dual spec became a thing back in Cata, those were the 2 specs i always rocked.
Funny thing is I found myself dodging the divine beast at times where I thought there was no way I caught I I-frames. Was a bit surprised you were having the exact opposite luck, especially bc you seem to always be on your dodge game. SoTE is no joke
Yes finally. I realised a sad thing tho. You probably will finish the dlc before me but i dont wanna spoil it for myself. For the first time i have to wait a bit before watching ur videos :(
This boss…is showing its whole ass…and he killed me with it many many many times. But I got that win last night. Feels so good!! PEAK MALE PERFORMANCE!!!
there are a lot of attacks that you should jump to dodge. even more than base game. like the flame stomp on the knockoff fire giant. jumping is so good to dodge those because when you jump your lower body doesnt have a hitbox anymore
That’s actually great advice tho. I only did jumping to attack, and completely forgot you can dodge with that as well lol. Thanks for the support as always my guy
11:43 Absolute disrespect from the knife guy, straight off the top rope. Also them pristine Nier Automata beats, always a choice of kings. Enjoy your time with the DLC man!
ok, that soreseal isn't doing you favors here. It's dropping your defense by 15%, and for just five extra points into core fields? Swap it out and just go to level 150 to offset the stat losses with ten increases left over. you want that vigor at 60, and put the other 5 in strength.
Welcome to one of the few places in Fromsoft Lore that I have absolutely NO Knowledge of. Instead, I will share what I know of fromsoft game design that might help you; The enemies here will be significantly faster, so you must focus and dodge their attacks, striking first if you can. The bosses will be harder than anything from the base game, and I'm all but certain that one of them will make Malenia look slow. However, they shouldn't be harder than Orphan of Kos, at least not until the final one, which might actually approach that realm of difficulty. However, this should be seen not as a point of worry, but of Joy. There might actually be something here harder than anything you've faced before, and that should excite you.
Gods damnit, do you know the kind of mental lag i had when i clicked an elden ring dlc video just to hear a ffxiv song starting to play? Dude, i'm on the thirst of waiting downtrail, dont do this to me.
You don't even know, Square. It gets way harder than this. I beat 80% of the bosses on the first try. The big bosses in less than 10 attempts. But my build is cheap cheesy spam with mimic tear. And there was a boss that took me over 150 tries. If the lion is taking 2+ hours, the horrors that await you should give you PTSD.
So you know how Artorias was tougher than any base game boss in DS1? That's because Fromsoft DLC always represents a step up in difficulty from the base game. Remember how Malenia was a Base Game Boss?
@@lebron73 TBH i was never being able to play elden ring because of my low specs but after watching all the videos of elden ring bosses, i can say that she is the hardest boss
@@LeopardGamingYT6969 she may look tough but most of her moves are very telegraphed, it's just the waterfowl dance that's tricky to get down and also the second phase clones but other than that she has nothing on even the first dlc boss, the divine beast
lol I feel like everyone gets into the DLC and realize they need to change build or at least optimize it. Or even change their playstyle completely, me included.
Avoid the Fire giants flames by staying between his legs and timing your jump straight into the air. Do not roll and he will stagger and fall Also, there is an NPC in that area. Talk to her while wearing the helmet you got from defeating the Dancing Lion. You need to find a key to the room, the room is on the bridge with the two guys firing projectiles down onto the street with the well
If you forget to level up before any boss and take runes into fight forget about them as you get plenty of runes in the game don't even worry about them as there gone lol 😂 and you get plenty in dlc it gives you plenty 💯 also are you doctor nick from simpsons?🤔also I change my build but went back to original I was using 2 katanas and be more aggressive like bloodborne it pays to play aggressive you will take hits but just trade and heal aggression I think is needed as everything can 2 shot you but enjoy bro 😂 also in dungeons try holy weapons like sacred sword it actually works well in dlc I siht you not😂
Thanks a lot for the advice my guy. I’m not doctor nick from Simpsons tho lol. I think katana may be the strat for DLC low key, especially bleed build. Sh!t is crazy in here lol
You should stop using what ever seal you are using (I mean one of those items that increase your stats) dlc enemies hit extra hard already so making them hit even more is just stupid
If you want to find new weps or usefull items you most explore all the none legacy dungeon area, using summon is fine ne, this enemies have speed increased in animations and slow delay mid combos, recomendation on bosses, only summon spirit's hp pulls from summon are insanely high. So fight get prolonged. Good luck Young tarnished warrior
You need to stop going straight into legacy dungeons and explore the open world to increase your scadutree blessing levels It increases your damage and damage negation
I dont know if you found it but there's an ash of war at the starting area called savage lions claw if you want an upgraded version of it
Yaah and that is 10 times better then normal one
One pro tip I will share; If you're having trouble with a boss, Go to bed and try it tomorrow or after a nap. Your brain can only truly learn new info, like a boss's timing, when asleep. As such, it truly helps with everything.
Gotta form those new wrinkles. I swear most of my brain wrinkles come from these games 😂
You're right, but I just can't happily fall asleep if there's a boss that just won't go down...
@@MAEGGANONN Still, if you're struggling late into the night, just go to bed and try again tomorrow.
That has worked for me many many tumes
Take your time, bro. As you said, enjoy the journey and we will enjoy it with ya

Really appreciate the continuing support through all the different series my guy. Hope you are having fun with the DLC as well!
I'm SO glad they decided Avatar Aslan would be the first boss.
Amazing Peak Male Performance video Square. Keep up the good work.
Thank you brother🙏🙏🙏
I actually somehow first tried the lion, but it reminded me so much of the final fight in Wild Hearts
You have to jump over his fire stomps and when he does double fire stomps run from the explosion and jump over the fire right before it hits you👍
24:06 Brother, their health bar JUST started to reach where the name ends lmfao. Sold
GG on Lion!

I use to think that way to then I played the dlc and saw how summons are kind of needed for some fights.
When the black villager shows up and Nier music kick in
The lion was trying to give you a cold shower (and shock therapy)
And a Oklahoma trailer park simulator
I enjoy your videos sooo much my guy! Action packed and fun! Keep up the good work. The DLC is amazing, easily first dlc in history to win GoTy xD
Thanks so much my guy! And so true, this DLC is fire ngl
Been supporting since below 3k subs crazy to see how far you've come in such little time keep it up man

You have to jump the single flame stomps and they have three stagers, on the third they fall for crit hits
I found myself clenching my butt cheeks when you went back to fight divine beast lol

Maybe take off the sorseal so you don't take increased dmg 🤔
I’d offer tips, but a man who fights naked cannot be helped lmao
If you want to play the greatsword use giant hunt it does way more damage or one in the comment sad there is a better version of lions claw 🥳
Surely he wont die 100 times on rellana
Going through it rn… May need to order another controller
