You can take it apart mid cook to add wood if you’d like, but I just place 7 or so good chunks in there to begin with and let it ride. You really don’t need much more after that.

Looks like Todd uses that drum a lot. Tell him to use his pocket knife to open the charcoal bags. I love to cook in a UDS.
