Its very nice to see that Falcon running, here in Argentina FORD keep on producing that Falcon up to 1991 -w/4 doors and straight 6 - and my brother and me learned drive on that cars - 1981 model to be honest - and my father bought one of the last - 1991 model - with a straight six and better head, 3 speed gearbox, beside the wheel and to be honest, that car was a total nightmare to drive, but hey!, the fun was go out with 12 people in there!!! Good memories.
This car is SWEET. Even the Chevy guys love it! lol This is the first time we have filmed 1/4 mile No Prep racing. Tulsa Raceway Park might be on to something here.

My Dad had a 1960 Falcon, I remember riding in the back seat as a kid. The shocks were so bad, it would bounce up and down on every bump. This car looks like it has a bit better motor!
That is a nice little car right there. Not exactly a sleeper but just enough to wipe the smirk right off the other guy’s face as he gets left in the dust.
That Falcon appears to be set up nearly perfect. There's no front wheels way up in the air causing him to have to pedal it(like 2 of his competitors did - and both lost because of it). With the possible exception of the last race, he seemed to get good traction pretty much start to finish. Plus it's a Ford inside & out!
So heartwarming to see this car, it’s anti establishment style, it’s track dominance and listen to the owner/driver. There’s no logical explanation for racing, no validity, no justification, no arguable point, barring mankind’s primeval instinct.

I'm watching on the cell phone that's all I got to see it on what is your best time I couldn't make out the time on the lights up there on the pole I'd really love to know what your best time in mile per hour is that is one killer ride. I used to have 1984 Mustang GT 5.0 that I took out and replaced with a Holman Moody 351 Windsor and it was a badass engine but it won't nothing like what you're running. I never took it to the track in time that I just had it for a street ride and it was a killer Street ride nobody could touch it around where I live nobody wouldn't even try it they were like that thing I know because I could hear the way it sounded and they knew better. My first and only time seeing a drag race was at darlington dragway in S.C. a few years back and fell in love with the power and speed of all the vehicles i saw. Spoken like a fellow FOG member- many years ago I had a stock '64 falcon ranchero with a straight 6 144 w/ faded blue paint, no rust. I loved her and got to go through every bolt on her a few times...usually on the side of some mountain road at the most inopportune time. My favorite car ever. still.
I have a 66 Fairlane in that same color with not as much rust. When I take it out people say not to paint it. It's like pretty perfect cars are a dime a dozen . Original painted ugliness is in. Lucky for me that saves me a bundle 🤣

My Dad had 2 of them. One 60 and one 61. The 60 got wrecked when a idiot in a Corvair hit it. The 61 rusted bad on the front fenders.
