Sneak into a Filipino party at St. Pats basement after chuch or christmas... lol. That's the real flip Palabok and real spaghetti. Or go to all the local filipino spots in Vancouver and Mukbang all that.
wow you like palabok but most I've watched they don't like it much the palabok . 🤣 anyway their chicken is really crispy, licious, and the cravy is like soup for me 🤣i put on top of a rice all .
The key ingredient to the spagetti is the banana ketchup Maria orosa was a chemist and scientist who with her invention like banana ketchup saved alot of lives in ww2 both American and filipino lives . She made powdered food to smuggle into the pow camps to save the lives of american and filipino pows . Her hospital was bombed she could have fleed bc they were told in advance to evacuate the area but she chose to stay and work she died a hero
Many people say the spaghetti has sugar in it but we don't put sugar in our philippine spaghetti ... usually, almost all spaghetti uses Tomato ketchup but in the Philippines, we're using Banana ketchup not tomato that's why the taste is different from the other spaghetti... in the old times the Philippines is a poor country and we're struggling planting tomato because of war and thanks to that we cant make tomato ketchup that's why we find a different style of ketchup using other ingredients like Banana that we already have because Banana is one of the most common and widely grown fruit crops in the Philippines and Coconut too
Jollibee is not a modern imitation of American fast food particularly Mc Donalds as many might think. It is an all Filipino fast food chain influenced by the American colonization of the country (1898-1946). Just like Italian immigrants in America who brought their food with them hence Olive Garden. The Chinese immigrant in America hence Panda Express. The Mexican immigrants hence Taco Bell and the like.
The guys at Jollibee know what they're doing! Noticeable differences in Jollibee outside PH versus inside PH: -The portion sizes are way smaller here in PH -Most chains outside PH don't have Jolly Hotdog (easily one of the weakest items on PH though, like good riddance) -PH do not have Adobo Rice, we have great breakfast items here though, like Corned Beef, Tapa, Longganisa with garlic rice and egg. -Pineapple quencher or what it's called is just an option from Coke here, and idk I do not like what they do with pineapple drinks here in PH -One thing I also notice is that most US food reviews do not have Lumpiang Shanghai (small egg rolls made with pork meat and veggies), Jollibee in PH serves it, it's acceptable on our Lumpia standards but not too special, but I figure people in the US will definitely like it should they serve it. Glad you guys are enjoying it!
The portion size is smaller because almost all menu has rice whereas they don't serve rice in Jollibee that's outside the Philippines unless you requested for it. And the Pineapple juice is not an option, it's just that ordering pineapple juice has an extra charge unlike coke. Also, I don't know what branch of Jollibee you're in but all the branches I have been has an amazing pineapple juice. There was even a time where I only ordered pineapple juice just because I was craving for a refreshing drink.
I ate the hamburger steak with adobo rice. Yes guys, I always call in my orders, even if it's just a 15-minute drive here in the west San Fernando Valley. There's always a long line if you don't call in your orders. JOLIBEE is my BLD 🙂
Palabok is a fiesta noodles that has boiled eggs, shrimp, pork meats, calamansi just a variety of asian cuisine. Langka in filipino means jackfruit next time try halo halo
Did they include calamansi for the palabok? you should squeeze some, the tangy taste will complement really well. You should also try the Aloha burger. I don't like pineapple in my pizza so I don't think it'll taste good in a burger but it does. I was hesitant to try at first but good thing I did.
We really wanted to try the Aloha burger, but our location doesn’t have it yet 🥲 Our palabok didn’t come with calamansi either😭😭 We definitely need to try that
Hi Guys I am freakin drooling lol. I am working here in Israel and I miss having Jolibee 😭. Now you love a Filipino fast food. It's time for you to cook authentic Filipino dishes. Looking forward for that to happen guys. Love from Israel
I am a new subscriber and this is the very first video of yours that I have watched. I love both of your reactions, Jollibee is really iconic. I'm craving rn because of this video 😭 You guys should try authentic filipino foods. Try sinigang, crispy pata, adobo, sisig and any other filipino foods. I'd look forward to that! 🤤
You research your stuff. Im subscribing. Nothing I hate more than when mukbangers eat something the wrong way and be surprised they didnt get the same reaction as everyone else
Try these distinctive Filipino dishes: Sinigang, Bulalo, Dinuguan, Kare-kare (with shrimp paste to go with it). Also Beef Caldereta and Menudo, although they have a bit of Spanish influence.
The spaghetti. quick information It's sweet not because they put sugar on it it's because Filipino spaghetti uses Banana Ketchup instead of tomato paste or ketchup.👌
Noo im not leaving jollibee or mcdo without a fries!! 🤣 jk, probably because of the potato shortage, i believe it was worldwide due to the war. Here in ph restaurants rn, they only allow customers to have fries in small sizes 😅 great video btw. I craved on palabok
Here in yhe philippines, kids love jolibee, but adults prefer Mang Inasal (grilled chicken fast food chain and also owned by jollibee company).. I eat there 2x a week and i prevent myself from getting unlimited rice
In addition, the pies available here aren't that big either, it's literally half the size of the pies that you have there, so it's really quite unfair to see a better version of the Jollibee menu. We need those options here!!!! Do us justice/a favor US Jollibee franchise.
What food do you guys want to see us try next? 😋
I was gonna say spicy food, butttt 😂
@@matumba41 We love spicy food but we both can’t handle it😂💀

I've watched a lot of westerners eating jollibee and i never get tired of it. More power to you guys!
We’re really happy that a Jollibee opened near us!! It’s truly so delicious
The evilest thing you can do here in PH is to buy a yumburger and eat it on a airconditioned bus and let everyone smell your success 😂😂
Sounds very evil to do 😂
Aye that's for sure 😂
Facts
Damn. 😂😂😂
Underrated comment.
This is the best reaction video I've ever watched!! yo you guys must try chicken or pork adobo
Thank you!! We will definitely do more videos eating Filipino food it’s so good 😋

Thank you for your appreciation on jollibee!
There's a lemon juice on the side of that palabok. You put it in the palabok to add citrusy flavor
I had the palabok + chicken, the aloha burger + fries , pineapple drink and the peach mango pie other day for breakfast😊

Langka in filipino means jackfruit
next time try halo halo
We will definitely try halo halo soon.. Also good to know that Langka means jackfruit!! 😋
We dont use sugar in our spaghetti.we use banana catsup to make it sweet.😅😅😅😅 banana catsup is more popular than tomato catsup here in the phils.😅😅😅
Your reaction guys are just so real! 😊

The food at Jolibee be bussinnn
Soooo good !! 😋🤤
u guys should try ethiopian food
We don't put sugar on our spaghetti but we put banana ketchup on it. That's why it's a little sweet than the regular spaghetti.
The banana ketchup makes it so delicious! We were told that some recipes include sugar
Enjoy I love PALABOK
We love it too!! It’s truly so delicious
Letzz gooo rui hachimura

Indeed they need to make their pies bigger.
Ngl, the size of the pies we have in the PH is only a third of what you have in the US
The pie is so delicious 😋 it truly needs to be bigger in both PH and US !! 😌
Try adobo rice
We will be doing that soon!!

That banana langka pie isn't even available here, along with the halo-halo and chicken burger, like US Jollibee, gave you a better menu.

Thanks for your support JV!! 🙌
oh nasa pilipinas try nyo gulay sa pilipinas

Big Pieces? Only in AMERICA. the pieces here are small. which is so saaad 😭
Bro you have to try Mac not kfc
How can you run out of fries??🤦🏻♀️
