    I’ve learned more watching these over the last year or so than I have in 15y of practice/playing. Really exceptional

    Been watching your channel over past 3 months and yesterday went to B&Q and bought some wood to build myself a board to stand on. It will be 4 weeks before I can get on a golf course, so some practice in the garden is called for

    Watching your videos are a breath of fresh air. It’s funny because every “I don’t care anymore” shot after a few duffers is always clean and crisp.

    Brilliant video. The yellow hoop with the blue stick on it is a great visual tool for me. That’s what i do high draw/hooks and the occasional straight push. Cheers guys.

    Greetings from USA!!!! Thank you much for the great vid. I have been playing gold for 30 years and the last time I took a divot, the Dead Sea only had a head cold. I started the Zen journey a few months. In the past few weeks I feel like I have had a bit of a break through. I am now able to feel a bit of a draw!!
    The AOA journey Huw went through seems pretty in-depth to me. I think I will probably be watching the full vid to throughly experience it and keep on file.

    Really useful for as my club path can be anything up to 12 deg right if I am playing badly. I also have great difficulty with playing off downhill lies or ball below my feet. Might get a couple of pieces of board to try your drill after watching this.

    Another Great video Gents, that really makes me keen to get a lesson with Marcus in his diary.
    Like Huw, I have a shallow AOA, but whatever I do I never seem to be able to take a divot after the Ball.
    I really need to get this sorted.

    At about the 5 minute mark (or so, too lazy to go back and check)...
    Marcus: “You already have a draw, but how do you control this thing? You have to go too far (the other way/fading it) in order to come back.”
    Understanding that concept, that chasing “consistent” or “trying to hit it straight” is a fools errand...and instead embracing the ability to adapt has changed golf for me.
    Another great vid.
    Might go buy the full lesson for this one to see what other nuggets are on there.

    Great content as always Marcus. Could you let me know what the size of the wiggle-boards are and what diameter the tube/rod has, so I could build me the same boards? I think this is essential to get the feelings for the lower body movements? Thanks.

    Marcus your missing out on a great commercial opportunity, you should patent the training aids and market them. I am sure that when more people realise that your coaching method is the way forward, those aids will be in demand.

    Marcus another great informative video. The student was making great contact at the end of the video. Watching his backswing it appeared to be 1/2 way back for his full swing and his 3/4 pitch shots. I believe my swing with irons may resemble his and should this be what we accept or should we try to lengthen the swing , and I don’t mean all the way to parallel. I was always under the impression we needed a longer swing to develop more power.

      Thanks for the question, everyone is different and it's all down to your own individual movement potential and available patterns that the body can readily access. Some people have more fast twitch fibres and/or can recruit their stretch reflex patterns more efficiently than others. Everyone is unique!

  • @dry509

    Do you recommend any particular iron head design? Are you into fitting the driver shaft etc?

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's all individual specific and I am in favour of club fitting. We work with a specialist fitter.

    Marcus,would foot boards have any value for someone who is adopting a stack and tilt type swing? Since the idea would be to start with weight somewhat forward and keep it forward through the swing.

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for your comment. I don't prescribe any set method so sorry I couldn't say. I'd suggest you find out first what your body wants to do by becoming an observer and using your self awareness. Maybe you're creating unnatural constraints for yourself before you even start swinging by having a mental construct of technique.
