During playtesting, this matchup's outcome was rather set in stone so another reason this video was delayed was because it took a while to get a decent match I wouldn't mind showcasing. There's not much else to be said other than that the quality of support for both decks speak for themselves. I am very glad with what Nume got this set but am still unsatisfied with the deck's mechanics compared to Suka. Suka literally has the unique mechanic of transforming opposing Digimon into literal Sukamon, but the new Nume support is still very much swing as much as you can, get deleted and hope you win. Even when you do steal a win with an unblockable Cooties Kick or Rush Nume, it doesn't feel altogether satisfying. Further, the Nume and Monzae support do feel a bit disjointed e.g., how Cooties Kick can't be applied to Monzae and BlackKingNume can only play a Nume, very different from the quality of synergy between Suka and Ete. In any case, I do hope they continue to give us more for the deck in the future! As for Looga, there's not much to say, man is nuts.
Yeah, the monzaemon stuff is rather disjointed. Shame really because Numemon and Sukamon are the trash Digimon everyone wants to see succeed. I do hope that further support, eg GoldNumemon, WaruMonzaemon and Pandamon, are just what the deck needs.
Yaa, totally agree Numemon Deck is no match with Loogamon in its current state. Especially with ShinMonzaemon which is more like a meme card and not as impactful lv.6 as it should be.
Well you hardly played to the strengths of nume in that decklist i.e. level 7 turbo since plat is a 1 cost evo and you can get away with some quantity of the vanilla nume and monzaes. I like your content but some of the lists you play are very vanilla and uninspired/don't try and capitalise on the deck's strengths at all.
I get that! My main tournament decklists are specifically crafted this way because I want to have fun just pitting each set's most core thematic cards against each other (which is also why Kimera isnt in the Looga decklist though I'd consider it a must competitively). That's just my way of making these videos and style of enjoying the game casually. Even in real life, I dislike the idea of splashing in versatile Lv.7s like Dex, Quartz or Ruin Mode into my Nume deck even if they make the deck more consistent and powerful. Even if it's more vanilla, I want to win with my Nume tribe alone as much as possible
Just discovered this channel. And god I love channels that make matches seem like something from an anime. -with cardprotagonist and paddy's flair for the dramatic and your editing skills a partnership video could truly be the best Digimon TCG video on TH-cam-
Just... one draw. That's all it would have taken to set htem up for victory next turn. Or hell, even that turn if they had enough memory. I can just imagine the anger and despair Satsuki would have been facing at that realization. So close to victory, to the card that would have put Eiji down so she could get payback... and she had to send it to the bottom of the deck. Well, at least she showed off how cool Numemon is to people. Maybe other tamers will show the slug some more appreciation in the future.
(well, hope this works alright, only read about stuff up to the first 'chapter' stuff so going off of that) Due to the Digi Police convincing the owners of the Blast Ace Rumble, despite the frustrations of the contestants, Satsuki was given another team in the tournament, for her own solo mission: Due to fears of the Sons of Chaos infiltrating the tournament for some unknown goal or research, Satsuki's true mission has been to take their agent down, a mission she was happy to do upon learning of it. After all, the supposed agent in question is one she has a personal grudge against: Eiji Nagatsumi. The tamer, however, isn't here as part of his given mission to infiltrate the hacker group, nor do the Sons of Chaos even know of the Blast Ace Rumble. He was invited in a lull between missions as a guest, meaning that the Digi Police are barking up the wrong tree... but that doesn't mean the A-Rank hacker won't be arrested if he loses! Will Satsuki bring an end to his mission with the help of her Numemon dream team? Or will Eiji and Loogamon be able to power through and continue their travels together through the future potential they've been shown for the tournament? As the match opens, so begins the age old game of cops and robbers...
I know Eiji and Loogamon are the protagonists of this set but man, that deck is beyond overpowered. Without a way to remove things from the trash like in other TCGs its almost impossible to stop its gimmick.
Platnume can rush into it cuz of the cheap evos which allow it to send 10 cards back after deleting a Digimon and also blocking when deletion effects of the deleted digimon.
FenriLoogamon was abusing the memory gauge, crazy. The way Eiji was used to get those blockers up was skillful as well. Numemon was okay but it did go up against a top deck so the result was expected. There is still lots of potential support down the line to make the deck better. Honestly with all the Numemon variants i wouldn't be surprised if the deck eventually just didn't play eggs/lvl 3 and just had all lvl 4's as the low end of the deck.
Definitely won't just outright forego the eggs/level threes, it would gimp you way to hard for card draw. That said they can be more or less a utility/throw away slot. Best use seems to be for security effect rookies and/or floodgates. The floodgates especially this format
I'm surprised that fenriloogamon can continue the turn until the memory is 3 or more for the opponent meaning it gives you more moves to make like using a delayed of any memory boost option card
Great showing from Numemon! Loogamon is an insane archetype for how new it is, so I'm glad it was forced to fight for that win! Not looking forward to playing against it when BT14 hits the US, though!
This is exactly the result I expected (sadly) but I am surprised at how close it was. Nume/Suka may be fun some of the time but they both rely so heavily on luck and the hope your opponent doesn't pull the cards they need. The decks are so easily out-paced and need more speed. That said, it was a great match to watch and I was really hopefully Loogamon might lose at one point. One thing is for sure, I am really not looking forward to that Loogamon deck being in the meta 😅
Wouldn't hellLooga be able to choose something from it's sources with it's on deletion since on deletion effects are triggered from the trash? Or was what was under it not a valid target?
I knew this was gonna feel like a one sided match because loogarmon is to much of an insane deck, with a lvl 6 that feels like, has to much text and over extends to much XD At least it seems it can get easily countered by dexmon, which would have been a nice tech in numemnon. In the worst case Platinum can digivolve into it. Even quartzmon would have been an interesting choice. But still you delivered a pretty good video! And numemon still was able to do things. I only feel like, there were few monzaemons, its a pretty easy card to hard cast, but i get that black kingnumemon helps out a lot.
Does Helloogarmons 'end of turn' not allow you to grab the looga under itself? Also, doesn't the tamer inheritables only apply to the digimon they're under?
1. Yes but the first Helloogar that erupted didnt have Looga under itself, it had Gabu 2. Yes, I was referring to when the Digimon its under is of the specific trait/names
WHAT a *match*!!! For a minute there, really thought Nume was going to win!! I even had started cheering for em!! You know... I think I might regret what I said about wanting to see Fenri again and again over Nume. I've only seen a couple of matches with Fenri and am already getting tired of it...
now im curious. if you take a direct attack from a digimon with 0 security attack wouldnt that still end the game because you're not attacking security but the player themselves
Doesn't the HelLoogarmon return the loogamon from it's sources as it's deleted first, then it returns to hand? Edit: I'm just realizing that it's referring to the Rookie, not the Champion
Darn, I was rooting for Numemon on this one. I think this purple deck is waaay to haxx to win. Bending the rule of the memory guage is a bad way to win. That last cootie kick was all that was needed. Should have played the blue plug in. XD
As a looga player this match was way too close for comfort even tho i was supporting nume to win i was secretly happy that looga won but damn it was a intense match
Man, I didn’t get my hopes up, and I’m glad I didn’t XD the fenri deck is just so unfun to watch imo, it just does SO much that it’s like “oh, it’s playing? Welp, next game” lol
I know there's no hope, but I really want Fenri to lose. *POST VIDEO EDIT:* Oh wow, I was the first comment. Both sides fought hard, and I'm pleasantly surprised how much the loser made the winner sweat.

Yeah this match was a bit lopsided buy hey I still enjoyed the match because holy cow platinumnumemon is still fun to see throwing down

Why cross out a great take?
I never thought I would see a purple deck mil itself faster than a Beelzemon X deck before today.
You're an absolute legend for the digimon tcg community. You drop this king 👑
what is the emulator called?
The fact that the security has the same colours as the deck is just a fantastic detail
We all knew what was going to happen.... but we also didn't give up hope
It was a shame to see Numemon lose. Mostly because we knew it was going to happen.
But they did put up a fight.

That was a close match but the good boi won in the end
Yeah Loogamon is a good boy

You can remove trash with merciful mode, although it is slow

I enjoyed watching ShinMonzaemon send Fenriloogamon back to Security and beat up on it.
I'm surprised that fenriloogamon can continue the turn until the memory is 3 or more for the opponent meaning it gives you more moves to make like using a delayed of any memory boost option card

Loved this match like always and I am happy that loogamon succeed. Loogamon for first place!
What song starts playing at 8:53
Wouldn't hellLooga be able to choose something from it's sources with it's on deletion since on deletion effects are triggered from the trash? Or was what was under it not a valid target?
There was no valid target under the 1st Hellogar. It recycles Looga, not Loogar
I need the loogamon decklist!!
I knew this was gonna feel like a one sided match because loogarmon is to much of an insane deck, with a lvl 6 that feels like, has to much text and over extends to much XD

Had to go for the BlackKingNume gacha play haha, even though it doesnt always turn out well...
@@rustmarrow oh totally it adds more to the fun XD
Does Helloogarmons 'end of turn' not allow you to grab the looga under itself? Also, doesn't the tamer inheritables only apply to the digimon they're under?
1. You can because it deletes itself and draws 2 cards first. After that happens, that's when you grab the Looga from trash.
2. You're correct.
1. Yes but the first Helloogar that erupted didnt have Looga under itself, it had Gabu

Whats the song used during the fenriloogamon turn? :o
X-Treme Fight
I'm confused what game is this? I can't find a digital digimon card game anywhere.
Tabletop Simulator on Steam
Holy cow what a comeback for the deck I wanted to win! Woo!!!
WHAT a *match*!!! For a minute there, really thought Nume was going to win!! I even had started cheering for em!! You know... I think I might regret what I said about wanting to see Fenri again and again over Nume. I've only seen a couple of matches with Fenri and am already getting tired of it...

It wouldn't end the game no
According to the rules, it does not end the game!
What's the music it ends on, absolutely slaps. Great video, very excited about fenri!
Xtreme Fight from Digimon Adventure 2020
Allways wonder what Tabletop Simulator mod he uses i cant seem to find anything similar.
It's an old mod by ajstephen, but the cards I import myself
On the bright side, Satsuki still moves forward with the DigiPolice.
Doesn't the HelLoogarmon return the loogamon from it's sources as it's deleted first, then it returns to hand?
Edit: I'm just realizing that it's referring to the Rookie, not the Champion
The first Helloogar did not have a Looga in its sources!
Is it just me, or is FenriLoogamon way scarier than Alphamon at its peak?
The more I see of the loogamon deck, the more I want to play the deck ngl
Darn, I was rooting for Numemon on this one. I think this purple deck is waaay to haxx to win. Bending the rule of the memory guage is a bad way to win. That last cootie kick was all that was needed. Should have played the blue plug in. XD
This went just about as expected
I can’t wait to play both decks
I expected to see junkmon for rookie for nume too. But kokuwamon also good
Great job, Loogamon!!!!
what’s the name of the emulator?
Tabletop Simulator on Steam
I was hoping this might happen to Numemon. I can't believe it lost to the big dog
Damn it... well, at least numemon went all out
What happened to your new video?
Had to take it down cos of a misplay! Will be reuploading it soon!
I knew looga had to much text but this was a little ridiculous
As a looga player this match was way too close for comfort even tho i was supporting nume to win i was secretly happy that looga won but damn it was a intense match
It only tha option card was save for the end
Song at 18:25?????
Extreme fight from digimon adventure 2020
what a fun match this is haha
Man, I didn’t get my hopes up, and I’m glad I didn’t XD the fenri deck is just so unfun to watch imo, it just does SO much that it’s like “oh, it’s playing? Welp, next game” lol
LETS RUMBLE
I really hoped Numemon would win...
Think we all wanted numemon to win right people
We did...
I know there's no hope, but I really want Fenri to lose.
*POST VIDEO EDIT:*
Oh wow, I was the first comment. Both sides fought hard, and I'm pleasantly surprised how much the loser made the winner sweat.
Who's a good boi? jk
Stupid comments while evolving, I just skip immediately 5 seconds.
