I first found out about playing as Hunter in other levels from an NPCarlsson video, interestingly enough. Hunter could always clear gaps by jumping in the original trilogy that Spyro had to glide across, and i think its really cool that Eurocom kept that continuity.
I remember thinking playing as Hunter was more fun and cool back when I used to play this game. If Hunter weren't so high all the time he could have beaten all the bosses and levels by himself like you have just showed here. He is OP!
the absolute amount of coincidences needed to make this work, makes me think it's intentional somehow. that random platform in the void basically seals the deal for me. but that wouldn't make sense for obvious reasons - why would they waste time on that? so my best guess would be, they were using Hunter to beta test the levels for some reason.
Problem is, there's a ball gadget section in the way, and we can't get Hunter past it. But, even if we could, the game would just treat that scenario as if we'd switched to Hunter, and we'd just find Spyro standing in Dragonfly Falls.
Trying to use the Ball Gadget as Hunter Soft Locks the game while the Invincibility Gadget makes him permanently invulnerable. But how does the Supercharge gadget interact with Hunter, if at all?
@@EbbeAHT That is what I expect: Supercharge only effects Spyro's Charging, and Hunter can't charge, sooooo.... The closest thing I could think about was it would cause some jank with his punch move

I don't think any of this is intentional at all, but parts of it are incredibly fortunate.
The councidences are just typical game design, especially of era

Unfortunately, those load triggers are hard-coded to switch your character to the ball gadget.
