Hey NeeYellow .. iam a huge fan of your work and what you do is spectacular .. you are my favorite artist of all times .. you inspired me to draw i learned alot by just watching you ..
i want to ask you, whenever i draw with colored pencils like faber castle polychromos or caran d'ache luminance, i get shine on the paper when the light hit it from certain angles, even when iam not pressing on the pencils very hard in order not to damage the tooth of tge paper .. and it happens especially when i do layering of the colors ...
Is there any solution to this ? Or it is a natural thing when you draw with colored pencils?

Nitpicking on this awesome video: I wish you had shown the photo of the particular part of the face you were drawing so I could have a better understanding of how and/or why you chose a particular technique or color combo for that particular area so I could have a context of that next time I encounter a similar area in my own reference photos. That would make this video tutorial absolutely perfect. :)

Hello! I’m a beginner on this type of art. I only do charcoal drawing and recently i got interested in this kind of art. But the problem was, i can’t build up multiple colors like what you are doing. It always results in rough texture which i really don’t like. I also want to know what kind and brand of paper you are using😞 Whenever i’m looking at my referrence photo, i always see multiple colors on the lips part and just that, i can’t choose my base color, what will be the next color and so on. I just hope you will see this comment and will be able to understand what i’m talking about😞 I badly need some advice and tips☹️❤️ Thank you!

You only use 2 to 3 color pencils? It means you're not blending layer by layer like those other artists? It means just. light flesh, cinnamon, and brown( siena or umber or ochre) that's it? And white? If that's the case let me try it too
