You should do an against the odds using rooftop storm and maskwood nexus (or any other thing that can turn your creature spells into zombies to cast for free) and then cast alllll the good stuff for free. Ulamogs, kozileks, emrakuls, archons, etc
On Nykthos: Yes, Mono Green Devotion is the only tier 1 deck that abuses Nykthos currently, but it's lack of effective use in other decks doesn't invalidate the problem that Nykthos is too strong of a card in Mono Green. Look at Explorer, Karn isn't an issue in that format, Nykthos is the problem in Pioneer. Don't ban Karn or Cauldron for Nykthos' sins.
