Why? I own a 2019 LC500 (E6 Carbon, 21" Advan GTs), and although I love my LC500 I have been contemplating getting a 991.1 GTS, GTR, or an R8. Why do you guys not like the GTR?
Same here I have been thinking about getting into LC500 next I have the GR Supra for almost 3 years now. Speed wise LC is slower than the Supra but it is different experience altogether. I want to keep something special and long time term. But I am undecisive between LC and GTR. I always wanted a GTR and it will satisfy the need for speed in me but the prices for a new and good used GTR are very high. Besides the speed nature of a car I feel LC500 is still a better value at the price of even new at $100k. The build quality overall seems better.
I'm torn between gtr and lc, but leaning towards lc for future purchase. My brain tells me lc but my heart says gtr. One reason i lean towards lc is this channel. For TH-cam's sake, i believe lc is the way to go not just to be unique, but also to be a pioneer. If ever they become more pop in the aftermarket, you will be pretty much one of the first creators geared towards it...to me at least.

KEEP IT! way better than a GTR imo... GTR dime a dozen and warrants unwanted attention... the LC500 has sophistication and super class! literally looks like a PROTOTYPE car driven on the ROAD! not everyone is a car person and still has not seen an LC500!

I have one as well. Yours is clean as hell this car is so very special with all the minor details that make you truly appreciate this vehicle. If you're looking for more excitement my suggestion is get an Armytrix exhaust and upgrade the suspension. In the end the question is what are you looking for, a luxury grand tourer or a race car?

Keep it!!! The engine is pretty bulletproof so you’ll be able to tune it before you know it. Steering wheel change out. Upgrade the ambient lighting, duckbills look nice on them and some nice exhaust tips with diffuser.
I have to be honest with you, man. I have absolutely no skin in the game. It doesn’t affect me one way or another what vehicle you ultimately own. However, a common theme between all TH-camrs that I’ve noticed is that after it’s all said and done, they are upset for chasing the TH-cam algorithm instead of getting the vehicles that they want and enjoying them. Sure by letting the common section choose your next vehicle. You may get more 12 to 14 year-old subscribers then you’ve ever dreamed of, doubling or even tripling your subscriber base in a short period of time. But in the end, you will feel like a sellout, and you will constantly have to chase that next best thing trying to please the TikTok crowd. Instead, you should find your target demographic, which is the person you defying yourself as and cater to that person by being authentic.

Selling this for a generic, market inflated, pretty much Camry of cars and Coffee GTR? To each their own but… I’d go M4 if you want that speed and power bc you can snag an AWD Comp M4 that will walk aGTR (I own a heavily modded LC and a ‘24 M4 comp so don’t trust my biased opinion lol) do your thing lol
Even though I just bought a r35 I definitely still want a lc500 . My only concern is id get over it within 1-3 years but because im in Japan the gtr is to much speed wise haha 😂
I've owned 3 GTR'S. Haven't owned one since 2019 and now I'm wanting another one. But, I'd have to get rid of my M5 or my wifes Lexus so. Tough decisions.
Hey yo…. What body kit do you have? I also have a white lc 500, oem black 21’ rims. Love the body kit…. Btw, until u get the exhaust, u can get a valve controller that keeps them open, sounds better at the lower rpm band. Quick, easy, and relatively inexpensive mod u can get off Etsy. I posted my car there. Since I’ve got 20mm spacers back, 10mm front and painted (those little) calipers red.

Well if you documented getting an r34 gtr from Japan and build that up and showing how hard it is to get parts. that might be something I would watch. Or get a viper, fd rx7, Nissan Silvia, the new integra doesn’t have much content . I do watch your content because you are probably the only person who is documenting an lc500 which i love. No to mention you have the nicest lc500 by far on TH-cam aside from stevensgarage channel and he doesn’t post regularly. I’m torn between lc500 and a 440i and mess with the b58 which has a 1000hp potential. I wish someone unlocked the ecu for the lc500 and get 8-900 hp with turbos on it. Then hands down I’d pick the LC. Or tear the car up and try to put a 2jz in it and be the only one who has that done. Love your car and your content. Keep the LC and hopefully get a gtr as an additional car in the future.
Well I just watched your “of all cars why lc video.” Your thought process is on point with everything you said about the brands and your history on cars. I believe you made the right choice with the LC, keep pumping out videos. Hopefully the tuner world will catch up and more aftermarket parts will come out for it. Lc>440 is starting to pushing in that direction for me. I have an fd so I guess my dream car check list is partly done lol. Keep that car. Other cars look good and all that but what no one talks about is their 🗣️MAINTENANCE BILL. Why go get a problem(car) when you already don’t have a problem with the beautiful car you have now, instant classic and will appreciate just be patient.
I work from home. We currently only have 1 vehicle. I have a new daughter, our first. We have a large SUV, give me permission to get an LC500. A car seat does fit.
My $0.02: It’s a very bad decision to sell or not sell your car due to what you think your views on YT will be. You don’t even have 1,000 subs on this channel. The chances of this channel making a living for you are very very very small. Almost extinct chances. So, don’t rely on YT comments to determine your choice. As much as I think the LC500 is overpriced in terms of the performance it gives, I think it will go up in value in the next 10 years. Keep it and just keep making content for fun. Don’t make content in “hopes” to make $$ because you simply aren’t there…
Lowering springs almost always suck it's usually fine for a few months then you realize it's horrible especially after adding bigger wheels. Coils are almost always better. I recommend bc's for the price/performance
@@kcw9313 adjustable coil overs is exactly what we’re talking about. Lowering springs on factory struts vs adjustable coil overs. Not a ton of options for the LC like other vehicles. The LC comes factory with 21’s. Yes I put 22’s but lower profile tires so overall diameter is very close to stock. I’ve been customizing my rides since the 90’s. It’s all baby steps. I can’t drop $20k in suspension all at once. But thanks for your input. I do want to show other LC owners ‘this vs that’. So we’ll start with affordable stuff and move into the big boy realm.

You could easily blow 10 grand on wheels and tires alone the same on suspension. I wouldn't recommend it honestly. Personalizing your car is a... Personal thing according to personal taste. This is probably the #1 reason why people aren’t buying these. I mean, there are many reasons…expensive, soft suspension, handling is sub par, etc…but the lack of being able to mod this car for more power is the main reason why people don’t want them. In stock form, it’s just too sloppy and slow, just like every Lexus “sports” car. It needs more power. Power is the market now. People can tune 4cyl-T cars to be a hell of a lot quicker than this $100k+ Lexus. So why get it if power ranks high up on someone’s list?? That’s why they don’t care about the car…
get you a nice set of ohlins coilovers, mike over at figs engineering can get you set up properly. as far as more power on the car you can add ppe headers and exhaust. this wakes up this v8s
I think, ( and I may be wrong ) your expectations for what this cars original intended purpose is appears misaligned. This car was never intended to be a track focus sports car. It’s a tourer that with performance style architecture. The LC makes no claim to be anything other than an awesome sounding comfortable plush NA V8. Trying to “will” this car into anything other than that will result in disappointment. But at the end of the day it’s your money, your car, enjoy as you see fit.

I sold mine after 3 years and I regret every day!yes is slow and heavy but extremely beautiful and the sound is awesome 😊
