That’s made me chuckle Marc. A very honest “balls to the wall” review there. Love the the beer interjection too. Hard work these reviews but thank you for cracking on. Top draw!
Thanks for the review, Marc! It's definitely pinging even more, now that I've oiled and knocked it! Fun fact: the young fella at the sports shop saw me obsessing over it. I left with the Mrs to flight centre and managed to con her into letting me buy it while we were there. Went back into the shop and the young bloke said he knew I'd be back for it. Gave me $20 off so it was $380. Made my day 😂 -Angelo
Huge thanks for letting me hang on to it for a while, i have been pretty busy lately with family stuff and that horrible weather. Hopefully this video will do well.
Awesome review Marc - I do love the high middle bats of the past as they were simply stunning. You need that high spine on higher middled bats to run that spine down low, otherwise the bat looks like a pancake. I do have an XP80 in the collection, which is quite the beast, but actually just prefer the aesthetics of the XP70 profile wise looking back. Keep it up!
I remember owning an Omega, which I purchased from Rebel and was lowest grade in that range. That one had 35mm edges and a 65mm spine, and it was probably one of best bats I ever owned. Would love to see some more innovation in bat making.
Thanks for the comment. I remember the omega. UK and Aussie one were slightly different. I actually owned the UK Omega wheelie bag, but sold it to buy the GN TEST

Thanks for the feedback. Making people happy smile is worth the effort.

What’s not to like about this bat, the good old days when we didn’t have this edge size fixation and batmakers could be more creative love it
I thought someone would enjoy the review. 👍
Love this era of bats, some monsters out around this time
They were awesome
Beautiful bat.....old school still takes it for me. Cheers Marc
No worries Stuart

Thanks Chad. I think they spectacular to look at and feel in the hands.
2:11 is a good Wieght. I remember the XP80 being quite heavy.
I’d have to rewatch my xp80 videos and even I cannot do that. Pretty sure that was 2.10
