I re discouvered kindness and decency in South Africa. A smile costs nothing, a helping hand brings joy to all involved.
The simplicity of recognizing the presence of others and resiprocating the simple things, like two strangers seeing and sharing a beautiful view, a child laughing, a dog going nuts......
I learnt again, life aint supposed to be simple, the past belongs in the past, the present is real and the future is what you make of it.
I wish for us all to make some or all of it real.
May you all have a beautiful day and a prosperous year 🌈❣️

Will is very perceptive in saying that one never feels fully relaxed but always fully alive, I miss it so.

I like your vlog. I like any positivity surrounding South Africa, as the country has sufferred too long. The one thing we should never forget is that with money man can buy the comforts, which those without cannot do. It would be interessting to see what the next vlogs deliver...

What a magnificent bit of filmmaking! Real and heartfelt with some absolutely magnificent cinematography! It's a great pity that many people who would otherwise enjoy it and perhaps learn something will never see it because of the fact that modern politics has become so balkanised that the word "conservative" in the title will immediately put them off :( (A word to the wise: Leave the words "conservative" and "liberal" at the door of any intelligent discussion because they have become so polarising as to have become a meaningless liability ;) )

The use of the piece of music from The Last Samurai for the intro shot is absolutely inspired.

If you are wealthy you can afford to be posative. I do not beleive you rich folks are in touch with what is happening to the middle and lower income bracket South African of all races. People are desperate and batling to survive. The extremists poloticians are stoking old wounds....the future im my opinion is perilous

"Rich Whites" and "Foreign Rich Whites" are not the ones who should be interviewed because they are not representative of what the reality is for the average White person in Africa.

This includes the working American citizens as well. Hand to mouth existences. Isn't why we work so hard. We've drilled water wells, sent .untold tons of food and shelters to many countries and they then find more problems to solve. How about fixing things on your own while we take a bit of a rest so we can enjoy a bit of this life as well.

Anyone who has called South Africa home leaves their heart behind when they leave it. 🥰

My ancestors have been here since 1657. How long do you have to live in a land to become a part of it. It's in your blood. Many Afrikaner surnames start here and don't exist anywhere else in the world.

That's a lie a white man tells himself to make him justify his invasion.
Most Afrikaaners are of Germanic tribes. Surnames exists mostly in German

I just realised who Sebastian’s accent reminds me of: Marco Pierre White.
