    I submitted a 19 page document on GA case law for a lawsuit. Over 29,000 characters. The trick was to submit it in 8 parts. I told it not to generate text after each part, and to give me a confirmation that it got each part. Then I told it to use parts 1-8 to generate a liability analysis for my lawsuit. It was successfull in using all 19 pages broken into parts. So if you do that you can get around the prompt limit. Just copy paste your document in pieces. But you need to tell it what you are doing. And to wait to answer the question until it has received all parts.

    I was having fun with GPT 3.5 using it to play a text based space themed RPG and it was amazing and a ton of fun! Then it got me thinking how much better it would be with GPT 4 so I bought the subscription and tried again and oh my lord my game was so much more interesting! It’s a text based game where I can literally do ANYTHING I want in it and it was loads of fun playing around with that.

    • @christopherpoet458
      @christopherpoet458 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am going to stand with Matt Sears on this one. ChatGPT, for all that I have used it for, has mostly just been a consultant/assistant/tool vs Hands off AI Labor. Sure, it can help cut a LOT of corners and speed up the process on some things and inevitably is will be capable of handing 99% of the workload on some subjects, but this is also the cost/side-effect of expanding technology. In short, what the bot is able to do on its own with minimal work on the users part will either grow or shrink in value based on one question; How well it can do it. Just because the bot can spit out a prompt or write a paragraph does not mean it is GOOD content. And just because it might be good, does not mean the quality level desired is there, ultimately requiring some degree of manual labor where skill matters. What the bot can learn to do will diminish in value over time as more and more people become familiar with how to make the bot handle it. Anything having to be done manually because of AI limitations will increase in value.
      It is no different then the assembly line of a factory. Once it was all manual labor taking 10 times longer than the automated machines we have today. This is literally the same situation, only regarding a digital work flow vs a physical one. Mostly. All in all, the bot is a tool that can help people do a LOT more than they could on their own and should be treated as such accordingly. After all, just because a robotic arm is screwing parts together on an assembly line does not mean the inventor of the bot gets to own every screw used.

    • @christopherpoet458
      @christopherpoet458 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@noeticthepoetic5242 there is nothing written legally that this is the case. Its kind of no different than subbing to Netflix or a patreon creator. Even if you have a hand in the created content.
      According to the current rules set forth by the US Copywrite Office, generated art without any additional modifications is not legally copywriteable because the majority of creative decision making is up to the AI. However, if you edited the result further, this would change to being copywriteable. Cases will be handle on a case by case basis probably to account for the massive prompts people use where they specify a lot of details to the AI and that may rule in their favor.
